Why is your tag Skio?
SKIO representa el apellido que nunca mis profesores me dijeron correctamente. Mis amigos me llamaban así y llego hasta mi nombre de graffiti.
SKIO represents my last name which wasn’t said correctly by my teachers. My friends used it and it became my graffiti name.
¿Qué tratas de decir con tus graffitis?
What do you try to say with your graffiti?
Al principio solo era egocentrismo: Escribir mi nombre en los mejores lugares del sur de Francia. Entonces empece a pintar personajes, me gustó recrear escenas de comic. Hoy en día, intento dar mas significado a mis pinturas, mostrar a la sociedad sus excesos.
At first it was just self-centeredness: writing my name in the best places in South of France. Then, I started painting characters, I liked to recreate comic scenes. Nowadays, I try to give more actual meaning in my paintings, showing society and its excesses.

Me gusta la web: simple y clara. También los artistas presentados aquí son bastante buenos por lo que estoy agradecido de formar parte de esto.
I like the website: it’s simple and clear. Also, the artists presented in it are pretty good so I’m glad to be part of it.
¿Qué te motivó para empezar a ser un escritor de graffiti?
What motivated you to get started being a graffiti writer?
Empecé pintando muy ingenuamente, robando sprays en el sótano de mi padre. En ese momento tenia 16 años y no sabia que estaba prohibido pintar en las calles. Tan solo pintaba. Entonces hice algunas investigaciones y empece ilegalmente a escribir mi nombre en mi ciudad donde nací. Niza. Rápidamente me encontré con gente que eran apasionados con los trenes (HP, TSW) por lo que tuve la oportunidad de construir mi estilo ilustrativo con B2C y Guetto Farceur.
Para resumir cronologicamente: Inocencia, adrenalina, pasion y técnica.
I started painting quite naively, stealing spray cans in my dad’s cellar. At that time I was 16 and I didn’t know it was forbidden to paint in the streets. It was just in order to paint. Then, I made some research and started to illegally write my graffiti name in my birth city, Nice. Quickly I met train painting impassioned people (HP, TSW). So I had the chance to build up my illustrative style with B2C and Ghetto Farceur.
To sum up chronologically: innocence, adrenaline, passion and technique.

Where do you like to paint?
Me gusta pintar en las populares zonas de Paris, como Belleville. También disfruto pintando en festivales y en algunas zonas ilegales.
I like to paint in popular areas of Paris, such as Belleville. I also enjoy painting in great festivals and some more illegal places.
¿Cuál es el estilo que utilizas?
What is the style you use?
Tengo un estilo ilustrativo: algunas veces colorido y trabajo con luces y volúmenes y otras veces mas con un estilo grabado con un spray negro.
I have an illustrative style: sometimes colorful and working with lights and volumes and some other time more engraving style drawing just with black can.
¿Cómo te imaginas el graffiti en el futuro (Año 2085)?
How do you imagine graffiti in the future (Year 2085)?
En el año 2085 habra una ley para cortarle los brazos a los artistas por lo que pienso que sera el graffiti muñón.
Más seriamente, el 2085 no esta tan lejos y las paredes o cualquier superficie ya estarán pintadas. Pienso que la contaminación sera mas importante que sera una rebelión para dar un mensaje para proteger la tierra o quizás usaremos un gran rayo laser para pintar muros desde una distancia: como artistas francotiradores de graffiti
In 2085, there will be a law to cut off graffiti artists’ arms so I think it’s going to be stump graffiti.
More seriously, 2085 is not a long way off and walls or every graffiti surface will already be painted. I think pollution will be so important that real rebellion would be to give a message to protect the Earth or, maybe, we’ll use great laser ray to paint walls from a distance: sniper graffiti artists!

Can you talk about this as the graffiti in your city?
En Paris, el graffiti refleja sociedad: la clase baja permanece en las calles y en el metro y la clase alta permanece en las galerías. Quizás los mejores no son aquellos que pensamos que son.
In Paris, graffiti reflects society: there’s lower class to stay in the streets and the subway, and the upper class whit those who paint to be in art galleries. Maybe the best are not who we think they are.
