¿Qué te motivó para empezar a pintar?
What motivated you to get started painting?
Siempre he sentido un impulso creativo desde pequeña hacia las artes. Llegó un momento en el que al acabar los estudios obligatorios aparece la posibilidad de estudiar Bellas Artes en Salamanca y a partir de ahi todo fue más fluido. Posteriormente estuve residiendo en Barcelona por 9 años y estuve en contacto con la escena street art de Barcelona.
Finalmente regrese a Galicia donde tengo mi base, aunque en este momento ya estoy trabajando en el extranjero de manera continuada.
I have always felt a creative impulse towards the arts since I was a child. There came a time when I finished my compulsory studies when I had the opportunity to study Fine Arts in Salamanca and from then on everything went more smoothly. Later I lived in Barcelona for 9 years and I was in contact with the street art scene in Barcelona.
Finally I returned to Galicia where I have my base, although at the moment I am working abroad on a continuous basis.
¿Cuál es tu estilo?
What is your style?
En mi estilo hay mucho de académico, de mis años en Salamanca. Hay parte de mi interés por la historia del arte, se puede ver en los elementos clásicos de la volutas y los monstruos medievales y hay otra parte que convive con la naturaleza. Me puedes encajar en la pintura realista pero me gusta el termino literario de realismo mágico, trato de hacer obras con una mezcla entre lo cotidiano y lo fantástico tratando de crear una atmósfera mágica y un entorno natural.
In my style there is a lot of academic, from my years in Salamanca. There is part of my interest in art history, you can see it in the classical elements of the scrolls and medieval monsters and there is another part that coexists with nature. You can fit me in the realist painting but I like the literary term of magical realism, I try to make works with a mix between the everyday and the fantastic trying to create a magical atmosphere and a natural environment.

Tengo muy buena relación con los medios. Sois necesarios para dar a conocer el trabajo de los artistas. En tu caso, me gusta mucho el formato.
I have a very good relationship with the media. You are necessary to make the artists’ work known. In your case, I really like the format.
¿Te acuerdas de la primera pieza?
Do you remember the first piece?
Pues en la calle debía tener 16 años y fue en mi pueblo natal.
Siempre he estado interesada en la intervención en el espacio publico. Poder hacer escultura o instalaciones me produce grandes satisfacciones aunque en este memento este más centrada en el mural.
Hace muchos años realizaba acciones en la clandestinidad o sin permisos. En mi opinion creo que son parte de un aprendizaje.
Tal vez las primeras piezas en Barcelona sean las que me metieron el gusanillo del arte callejero.
En este momento mi trabajo tiene mas visibilidad y en ese sentido también hay mas responsabilidad en cuanto a lo que hago o al mensaje que pretendo transmitir pero hay que tener en cuanta que también hay mas limitaciones al trabajar con administraciones, empresas o ONGs.
Well, I must have been 16 years old in the street and it was in my hometown.
I have always been interested in the intervention in the public space. Being able to make sculpture or installations gives me great satisfaction although at the moment I am more focused on the mural.
Many years ago I used to make actions clandestinely or without permits. In my opinion I think they are part of an apprenticeship.
Maybe the first pieces in Barcelona are the ones that gave me the bug for street art.
At this moment my work has more visibility and in that sense there is also more responsibility in terms of what I do or the message I intend to convey but you have to take into account that there are also more limitations when working with administrations, companies or NGOs.
