¿De dónde viene tu apodo?
Where does your pseudonym come from?
Es la consciencia de ir quitando y poniendo letras de mis primeros apodos, una cuestión más de dibujo que otra cosa. Dropers, Wpers, Pers… me quedé con Iper al poco tiempo. No tiene ningún sentido especial.
It is the awareness of removing and adding letters of my first nicknames, a matter of drawing more than anything else. Dropers, Wpers, Pers… I stayed with Iper shortly after. It doesn’t make any special sense.
¿Qué te motivó para empezar a pintar?
What motivated you to get started painting?
Varios factores, uno de los más importantes es haber visto graffiti en mi entorno durante mi adolescencia, formas y colores pintadas en muros con estilos que poco a poco voy conociendo. Mis primeras influencias, antes que Internet dominara todo, estaban en mi barrio y en mi ciudad.
Por otro lado, siempre me ha gustado dibujar y ha sido una forma de expresión y casi también de meditación. Soy curioso, me gusta el arte y la cultura en general.
Por último y no menos importante, la parte social que rodea al graffiti y su cultura. Gracias al graffiti he podido conocer a personas de diferentes lugares, es una buena forma de socializar y hacer amigos. Desde que comencé fue algo que me atrajo.
Several factors, one of the most important is having seen graffiti around me when i was teenager, shapes and colors painted on walls with styles that little by little I am getting to know. My first influences, before the Internet dominated everything, were in my neighborhood and in my city. On the other hand, I have always liked drawing and it has been a form of expression and almost also of meditation. I am curious, I like art and culture in general. Last but not least, the social part that surrounds graffiti and its culture. Thanks to graffiti I have been able to meet people from different places, it is a good way to socialize and make friends. Since I started it was something that attracted me.
¿Cuál es tu estilo?
What is your style?
Mi estilo a día de hoy es sencillo, me gusta hacer letras que se lean, me gusta jugar con los rellenos, a veces soy ordenado y otras me gusta experimentar con los colores.
Parto mucho del dibujo, me gusta practicar dibujos automáticos y descubrir formas, personajes e ideas. No todo lo que dibujo acaba convirtiéndose en pieza pero sin duda es algo que influye en mi forma de pintar.
No me identifico con un único estilo, me gusta cambiar, poner otros nombres y hacer piezas diferentes.
My style today is simple, I like to make letters that are readable, I like to play with fills, sometimes I’m organized and other times I like to experiment with colors. I start a lot from drawing, I like to practice automatic drawings and discover shapes, characters and ideas. Not everything I draw ends up becoming a piece but it is certainly something that influences my way of painting. I do not identify with a single style, I like to change, put other names and make different pieces.

¿Te acuerdas de la primera pieza?
Do you remember the first piece?
Si, aunque no tengo foto de aquel desastre. Fue con mi primer grupo, de los cuáles el único que sigue pintando en la actualidad soy yo. Mi primera pieza fue en alto y en un muro curvo, la pieza me quedó como un pastiche de colores dónde trazo, relleno y fondo estaban indefinidos. Antes de esa primera producción ya firmábamos y hacíamos throw ups sin mucho estilo.
Gracias a seguir pintando, poco a poco fui aprendiendo trucos, utilizando mejor los sprays y eligiendo mejor los colores. Nada que ver con lo que pinto en la actualidad, aunque hace unos años, cuándo vivía en Barcelona, rescaté el boceto de ese primer muro y pinté unos personajes que nunca fueron dibujados y quedó fenomenal. Fue una forma de homenajear esos momentos iniciales.
Yes, although I don’t have a photo of that disaster. It was with my first group, of which the only one who continues to paint today is me. My first piece was high and on a curved wall, the piece left me like a pastiche of colors where the line, fill and background were undefined. Before that first production we were already signing and doing throw ups without much style. Thanks to continue painting, little by little I was learning tricks, using the sprays better and choosing the colors better. Nothing to do with what I paint today, although a few years ago, when I lived in Barcelona, I rescued the sketch of that first wall and painted some characters that were never drawn and it turned out great. It was a way of honoring those initial moments.

En la actualidad Tapas Team y AX3. La primera es autóctona de Sevilla, somos amigos desde hace mucho y ya habíamos compartido grupo anteriormente (SPL). La segunda la comparto con unos pocos amigos de Alicante, en la actualidad creo que sólo lo seguimos escribiendo tres o cuatro pero creo que merece la pena seguir poniéndolo.
Currently Tapas Team and AX3. The first is native to Seville, we have been friends for a long time and we had previously shared a group (SPL). The second I share with a few friends from Alicante, currently I think we only keep writing three or four but I think it’s worth it to keep posting it.
