Why is your tag Twone?

Uno de los primeros tags que tuve fue Sore2 (Soretwo) entonces me lo pensé y tan solo me quede con TWO en el año 2005/06 en donde se me conocía como Mr.TWO pero era demasiado corto ese nombre así que añadí el ONE. TWONE.

One of my first blase was Sore2 (Soretwo) then I stopped by just keeping the TWO in 2005/2006 for Mr.TWO but it was too short… I added the ONE… TWONE

¿Qué te motivó para empezar a ser un escritor de graffiti?

What motivated you to get started being a graffiti writer?

Cuando tenía unos 11 a 12 años, había un lugar lleno de graffitis cerca de la casa de mis padres.

Por tener que pasar por ahi a la fuerza vi un montón de color y una pieza genial…. entonces las primeras revistas de RAP US y RADIKAL donde me encontré con movidas de la FX, SEEN etc…. Comprendí que quería hacer eso.

When I was 11 to 12, there was a place full of graffiti near my parents’ house.

by dint of hanging around this place I saw lots of color and cool letter… then the first RAP US and RADIKAL magazines where I came across annoyed parts of the FX, SEEN etc… I understood that I wanted to do that.

¿Qué tratas de decir con tus graffitis?

What do you try to say with your graffiti?

Nada en particular, solo para complacerme poner color en mi vida, poner color en la vida de las personas que disfrutan, esto es un intercambio y un compartir.

Nothing in particular, just to please me to put color in my life, if it puts color in the lives of the people they enjoy, this is an exchange a sharing

¿Cuál es tu estilo?

What is your style?

Mi estilo, es más fácil para otros definirlo, si encuentran un estilo americano de la vieja escuela neoyorquina con la salsa de hoy me queda muy bien, pero siempre trato de hacer las piezas con una buena selección de colores.

My style, it’s easier for others to define it, if they find an American style old school New York style with today’s sauce it suits me very well, but I always try to hit it with a good choice of colors.

What do you think about the idea of us publishing your graffiti on our web «elrincondelasboquillas.com»?

Para ser honesto, no sabía la existencia de la web, el hecho de que me lo dijeras, para hacer esta entrevista me dio la oportunidad de leer muchas entrevistas interesantes de otros escritores,

y creo que es genial porque no hay más revistas y ahora sitios como tú y en instagram u otras plataformas están reemplazando todo esto, así que gracias.

To be honest I didn’t know, the fact that you came to get me for this interview I took the opportunity to read a lot of cool interviews with other writers,

and I think it’s cool because there are no more magazines and now sites like you on instagram or other platforms are replacing all this so thank you.

¿Te acuerdas de la primera pieza?

Do you remember the first piece?

En 1999/2000 fue en el lugar de al lado de la casa de mis padres, íbamos allí por la tarde para tratar de encontrar pompas que los artistas de graffiti habían hecho… empezamos a hacer nuestra primera mierda, más tarde mi tío me dio una caja de JULIEN COLORS spray, y empezamos así con mis amigos de mi barrio…

In 1999/2000 the place next to my parents’ house, we go there in the afternoon to try to find bombs that the hidden graffiti artists… we started to do our first shit, later my uncle garage gave me a stock of JULIEN COLORS spray, and we started like that with my friends in my neighborhood…
