Troek
I came up with the tag Troek myself, thanks to a public transport pass. At that time, it was valid for three types of ground transport: buses, trolleybuses, and trams, which reminded me of the three magic horses from our Soviet fairy tales. And if you think about it, graffiti is also a kind of magic, because you take something dull and unattractive and turn it into something else that pleases the eye and attracts public attention.
El apodo Troek se me ocurrió gracias a la tarjeta de transporte público. En aquella época, era válida para tres tipos de transporte terrestre: autobús, trolebús y tranvía, lo que me recordó a los tres caballos mágicos de nuestros cuentos soviéticos. Y si lo piensas bien, el graffiti también es una especie de magia, ya que conviertes algo aburrido y feo en algo diferente que empieza a alegrar la vista y a llamar la atención del público.
Ник Troek я придумал себе сам благодоря карточке на проезд в общественном транспорте. В то время она была единой на проезд в трех видах наземного транспорта такие как автобус, троллейбус и трамвай, что у меня вызвало ассоциации с тройкой волшебных лошадей из наших советских сказок. А если так подумать то граффити тоже своего рода волшебство т.к. ты делаешь из унылого и не красивого что-то иное которое начинает радовать глаз и привлекать внимание общественности.

What motivated you to get started painting?
Cuando estaba en el colegio, en segundo o tercer curso, allá por 1995, sin darme cuenta me aficioné al hip hop gracias a unos compañeros de clase mayores que intentaban bailar break dance y pintar algo en las paredes. En ese momento, me impresionó mucho y empecé a buscar cualquier información relacionada con el hip-hop y, en algún momento, cayó en mis manos una revista con los trabajos de FX Crew y esa revista simplemente me dejó alucinado y, desde ese momento, decidí que el graffiti era lo mío. La primera vez que pinté en una pared, mi madre incluso me ayudó.
Back in school, in grades 2-3, around 1995, I somehow got into hip-hop without even realizing it, thanks to some older students I knew who were trying to breakdance and draw stuff on the walls. At that moment, I was very impressed and started looking for any information related to hip-hop. At some point, I got my hands on a magazine featuring the work of the FX crew, and that magazine just blew my mind. From that moment on, I decided for sure that graffiti was my thing. The first time I painted on a street wall, my mom even helped me.
Еще в школе, в классе 2-3 а это был примерно 1995 год, я как то незаметно для себя увлекся хип-хопом из-за знакомых старшекласников которые тогда пытались танцевать брэйкданс и что-то рисовать на стенах. На том момент меня это очень дико впечатлило и я стал искать любую информацию которая связана с хип-хопом и в какой то момент мне в руки попал журнал с работами FX crew и этот журнал просто взорвал мой мозг и с этого момента я точно для себя решил что именно граффити это мое. В мой самый первый раз рисования на уличной стене мне даже помогала мама))).

What do you like most about graffiti and what do you like least?
Lo que me gusta del graffiti es la oportunidad de viajar y hacer nuevos amigos. Pero uno de los mayores inconvenientes del graffiti es que los «artistas» poco inteligentes arruinan edificios históricos, monumentos y sitios del patrimonio cultural en general.
What I like about graffiti is the opportunity to travel and make new friends. But one of the biggest downsides of graffiti is that not-so-smart ‘artists’ ruin historic buildings, monuments and cultural heritage sites in general.
В граффити мне нравится возможность путешествовать и заводить новые знакомста))) А вот из самых больших минусов граффити это то что не совсем умные «художники» портят исторические здания, пямятники и вообще объекты культурного наследия.
