¿De dónde viene tu apodo?

Where does your pseudonym come from?

Mi firma proviene de una variación de tags antiguos que solía escribir a lo largo de los años y letras que simplemente disfrutaba.

My tag comes from a variation of older tags I used to write over the years and letters I just enjoyed.

 

 

 

¿Qué te motivó para empezar a pintar?

What motivated you to get started painting?

Mi motivación viene de cuando tenía unos 14 años y miraba artcrimes.org cuando Internet empezó a aparecer. También mi hermana mayor estaba en el graffiti en el momento y algunos amigos de la escuela.

Empecé a escribir graffiti alrededor de los 15 años. Principalmente aprendiendo a firmar y aprender de los chicos mayores de la escuela en el momento. En la adolescencia empecé a tomármelo un poco más en serio y pasé a hacer pompas y mejores handstyles. Entonces escribía ASK con mi compañera MYME, que ahora es MEDYK. Nos convertimos en una especie de bombardeo debido y haciendo dubs en todas partes que pudimos. Cuando llegamos a nuestros 20 ambos pasamos por una serie de firmas y nos movimos más hacia piezas/estilos a todo color. Escribí KRAVE,PRES,ASK,WONGA,PERS,PERST . Luego mezclé las letras para llegar a SREPZ que empecé a escribir alrededor de 2017 y ahora se ha quedado conmigo. He estado haciendo graffiti ahora de vez en cuando desde que tenía 15 años ahora tengo 33 años. Mi mayor inspiración viene de escritores alemanes y wildstylers. Desde niño me enamoré de los estilos agresivos, limpios y nítidos, y siempre quise ir en esa dirección. He tardado mucho tiempo en estar contento con mis pinturas y estoy orgulloso de mí mismo por ello. Aún quedan muchos por hacer.

My motivation stems from when I was around 14yrs old looking at artcrimes.org when the internet first started to come around. Also my older sister was into graffiti at the time and a few school friends.

I started writing graffiti around the age of 15. Mainly just learning to tag and learn off the older kids from school at the time. In my teens I started to take it a little more serious and moved onto doing dubs and better handstyles. I used to write ASK back then with my partner in crime MYME who is now (MEDYK). We became some what a due bombing and doing dubs everywhere we could. When we hit our 20z we both went through a series of tags and moved more towards full colour pieces/styles. I wrote KRAVE,PRES,ASK,WONGA,PERS,PERST . I then jumbled the letters around to come up with SREPZ which I started writing around 2017 and has now stuck with me. I’ve been doing graffiti now on and off since I was 15 I’m now 33. My biggest inspiration comes from German writers and wildstylers. I fell in love with sharp clean aggressive styles from a kid and it’s always the direction I wanted to go in. It’s taken me a long time to finally be happy with my paintings and I’m proud of myself for that. Many more to come!

 

 

 

 

 

¿Qué es lo que más te gusta del graffiti y lo que menos? 

What do you like most about graffiti and what do you like least?

Lo que más me gusta del graffiti es la gente que he conocido y que ahora son buenos amigos, y los días que pasamos pintando juntos o en solitario siempre son divertidos. Lo que menos me gusta es pintar demasiado a veces, ya que puede quitarle la gracia.

The thing I like the most about graffiti is the people I’ve met who are now good friends and the days painting together or solo is always good fun. The thing I dislike the most is painting too much sometimes as it can take the fun out of it.

¿Te acuerdas de la primera pieza?

Do you remember the first piece?

Mi primera obra fue sobre una tabla en un skatepark improvisado que hicimos en el jardín trasero de un amigo. Fue horrible, por no decir otra cosa, pero en aquel momento me pareció increíble.

My first piece was on a board in a makeshift skatepark we we made in a friend’s back garden. It was awful to say the least but at the time I thought it was amazing.
