Why is your tag Marte?

Una vez, hace muchos años, la hermana de mi novia estaba embarazada, y mi novia había comprado un libro de nombres, busque mi nombre (Marcello) y descubrí que significaba pequeño Marte (Marte, el señor griego de la guerra y además el planeta rojo, en muchos idiomas diferentes). Me gustó el significado de las letras tan bien, y por lo tanto empecé a escribir Marte y algunas veces Mars.

One time, many years ago, the sister of my girlfriend was pregnant, and my girlfriend have bought a name’s book, I was searching on it for my name (Marcello) and i discovered that it means Little Marte (Mars, the greek lord of war and the red planet too, in many different languages). I loved the meaning and the letters as well, so i started to write Marte, and sometimes Mars.

 

 

¿Qué tratas de decir con tus graffitis?

What do you try to say with your graffiti?

Depende, algunas veces, me gusta fijar un mensaje, como un rapero o un poeta, algunas veces solo goteo gotas.

Depends, sometimes i like to fix a message on it, like a rapper or a poet, sometimes i just drop the drops.

¿Qué te motivó para empezar a ser un escritor de graffiti?

What motivated you to get started being a graffiti writer?

Cuando tenia 4 años en 1989 yo vi el primer muro de mi vida y sentí algo muy extraño en mi mismo, una de las vibraciones mas profundas de toda mi vida, en la esquina en mitad de las calles, en mi vecindario, donde los comerciantes solían reunirse. Todavía esta allí a 50 metros de la casa de mis padres, cada jodido día de mi vida joven caminaba por esta esquina, y siempre solía mirarlo, con algunas preguntas en el interior de mi. Cuando tenia 13 años en el colegio alguien empezó a taquear, por lo que empecé con ellos tan bien, después de algún mes, empecé a hacer bocetos y a bombardear my vecindario y entonces.. muchos problemas, muchos amigos y muchas emociones.

When i was 4 years old (1989) i’ve seen the first Wall of my life and i felt myself very strange, one of the deepest vibe of all my life, in the corner in the middle of the streets, in my neighborhood, where the dealers used to meet. It’s still there, at 50 meters from my parent’s house, every fuckin’ day of my Young life i walked for that corner, and i always used to look at it, with some questions inside me. When i was 13, at school somebody started tagging, so i started with them as well, after some month, i started to sketch and bomb my Hood and then…. many trubbles, many friends and many emotions.

 

 

¿Cuál es tu estilo?

What is the style you use?

Milan cogió directamente la historia conectada con NY, por lo que el estilo de Milan original es el Wild Style, empecé con esta concepción y entonces lo puse en un concepto tridimensional, con luces y sombras, efectos, cortes, powers diferentes con diferentes colores y tamaños. Así que wild stylers actuales me dicen que no lo hago ahora, y los que hacen 3d lo mismo, pienso que yo lo hago simplemente, odio y amor, me gusta y no.

Milano got a graffiti’s history directly connected with NY, so the original Milano’s style is a wild style, i started with my conception of it and then i’ve put on it a tridimensional concept, with lights and shadows, effects, cuts, different outlines with different colors and sizes. So actually wild stylers tell that i am not, and the 3ders say the same, so i think i’m simply me, hate it or love it, like it or don’t like it.

 

 

 

 

¿Puedes hablarnos del graffiti en tu ciudad?

Can you talk about this as the graffiti in your city?

¡Todo el mundo ama pintar trenes italianos! si los trenes fueran mujer, los italianos seriamos las peores putas! todo el mundo los jode y todo el mundo quiere joderlos mas!!

Everybody loves to paint italian trains! If trains were women, the italians were the worst bitches! Everybody fucked them, and everybody wants to fuck more!!!

 

 

 

¿Cuál es tu crew?

What is your crew?

Mi crew es Nuclear 1, mi familia, mis amigos,los soldados de mi misma lucha.

Fundé Nuclear 1 en 1996 y no puedo imaginarme sin mi crew.

My crew is Nuclear 1, my familia, my friends, soldiers of my same struggle.

I founded Nuclear 1 in 1996 and i can’t imagine me without my crew.

What are your favorite graffiti writers?

Revok, Askew, Chas, Storm, Pose, Ewok, Aroe, Berst, Reso, Trav y las producciones de los años 90 de FX crew y Tats crew. Todos ellos gente real.
