¿De dónde viene tu apodo?
Where does your pseudonym come from?
A finales de los 80 todo el mundo se ponía su apodo en inglés. Yo quería que fuese en español. Me gustaba la palabra JUEZ por sus letras.
In the late 1980s, everyone had their nickname in English. I wanted it to be in Spanish. I liked the word JUDGE because of its letters.
¿Qué te motivó para empezar a pintar?
What motivated you to get started painting?
Crecí en un barrio en el que había mucha influencia de Graffiti. Me llamaba la atención y me gustaba dibujar. En el barrio ya había gente que pintaba como ZETA, DARK entre otros. Empecé a firmar y me enganchó mucho. Nos juntamos un grupo que pintábamos DARK, OSHE, JES, MOST y ahí empezó todo.
I grew up in a neighborhood with a strong graffiti influence. I was drawn to it and liked to draw. There were already people in the neighborhood painting, like ZETA and DARK, among others. I started signing and got really hooked. We got together as a group that painted DARK, OSHE, JES, and MOST, and that’s where it all started.
¿Qué es lo que más te gusta del graffiti y lo que menos?
What do you like most about graffiti and what do you like least?
Lo que más me gusta es dibujar, pintar en el muro y poder compartir ese tiempo con mis amigos (SODA, IDEA, SPAT, POSY, OSHE, NADA, LOTTO, DEK, FESH). Lo que menos el ego de la gente que pinta.
What I love most is drawing, painting on the wall, and spending time with my friends (SODA, IDEA, SPAT, POSY, OSHE, NADA, LOTTO, DEK, FESH). What I love least is the egos of the people who paint.

Me parece muy bien. Ya que así se difunde el graffiti y mis piezas llegan a mas gente.
I think it’s great. It helps spread graffiti and my pieces reach more people.
¿Te acuerdas de la primera pieza?
Do you remember the first piece?
La primera vez que pinté con spray fue al lado de mi casa. Conseguí un bote para pintar coches de color fucsia. Pinté tres letras y la cara de un B. BOY con un sombrero y una cadena. Era solo lineal. Fue en 1988, tenía 12 años. A partir de ahí empecé a pintar más muros con mas asiduidad y mucho bombing. He procurado mantener lo que es para mí la esencia del graffiti pintando siempre ilegal. Mi estilo ha cambiado mucho pero siempre he intentado mantenerme en el origen. Siempre me ha gustado el estilo de Nueva York y el Europeo.
The first time I spray-painted was next to my house. I got a fuchsia car paint can. I painted three letters and the face of a B. BOY with a hat and a chain. It was just linear. It was in 1988, I was 12 years old. From then on, I started painting walls more frequently and doing a lot of bombing. I’ve tried to maintain what is, for me, the essence of graffiti, always painting illegally. My style has changed a lot, but I’ve always tried to stay close to my roots. I’ve always liked the New York and European styles.

El graffiti es una forma de vida. Pintad todo lo que podáis, disfrutadlo y hacedlo desde el amor.
Graffiti is a way of life. Paint as much as you can, enjoy it, and do it with love.
