¿De dónde viene tu apodo?

Where does your pseudonym come from?

Mi apodo viene de una mezcla muy enrevesada, mezcle las 4 primeras letras de mi nombre, con la inicial de mi ídolo musical, para que al juntarlas sonase parecido al nombre de otro ídolo mío jajajaj.

my nickname comes from a very convoluted mixture, I mixed the first 4 letters of my name, with the initial of my musical idol, so that when I put them together it would sound similar to the name of another idol of mine hahahaha.

 

 

 

¿Qué te motivó para empezar a pintar?

What motivated you to get started painting?

Era 1993 cuando me vino la pasión del graffiti, cuando lo descubrí y experimente de verdad, y ahi me atrapo. me motivo ver a grandes escritores de mi barrio en parla, como rise, roska, sade… flipaba con lo que hacían, y quería ser como ellos. y ahi me empezó a entrar el gusanillo, cada vez me molaba mas, y a día de hoy, muchos a los que admiraba y admiro, y en los que me fijaba, pintan conmigo y muchos de ellos están en mi grupo, luego pues vas conociendo a otros grandes escritores como Posy, havy, teto, nks… y así sucesivamente.

It was 1993 when I discovered graffiti, when I discovered it and really experimented with it, and that’s when I got caught. I was motivated by seeing great writers from my neighbourhood in Parla, like Rise, Roska, Sade…. i freaked out with what they did, and i wanted to be like them. and that’s when i started to get the bug, i got more and more into it, and nowadays, many of the people i admired and admire, and who i used to look at, paint with me and many of them are in my group, then you get to know other great writers like Posy, havy, teto, nks… and so on and so forth.

 

  

 

 

¿Cuál es tu estilo?

What is your style?

En realidad toco todos los palos, cualquier estilo de letras, realismo, cartoon, comic,… pero lo que mas me gusta hacer, son muñecos, me gusta el estilo del muñeco old school, los que tienen la esencia del graffiti autentico, los verdaderos bboys. Me encantan! Siempre me han gustado. La mayoría de escritores hacen letras, muñecos somos una pequeña minoría los que los hacemos, pero los hay muy muy buenos, hay escritores que te hacen unos kekos increíbles, luego hay otros que….

Actually, I play all styles, any style of lettering, realism, cartoon, comic,… but what I like to do the most are characters, I like the old school characters style, the ones that have the essence of authentic graffiti, the real bboys. I love them! I’ve always liked them. The majority of writers make letters, we are a small minority who make dolls, but there are some very, very good ones, there are writers who make incredible characters, then there are others who do not. ….

What do you think about the idea of us publishing your artworks on our web «elrincondelasboquillas.com»?

La verdad es que me enorgullece, porque eso significa que se admira el arte de uno mismo, y lo muestra al resto del mundo. Me alegra la labor que hace el rincon de las boquillas, porque sigue mostrando la cultura del graffiti al resto del mundo, y eso es bueno. Para mÍ es un honor conceder esta entrevista.

I’m really proud of it, because it means that you admire your own art and show it to the rest of the world. I’m happy with the work that the elrincondelasboquillas does, because it continues to show graffiti culture to the rest of the world, and that’s good. Do you remember the first piece?

Sí, fue cuando entre a formar parte de mí crew TFC, y fue un personaje cavernícola en mi barrio en el 93.

Yes, it was when I joined my crew TFC, and it was a cave characters in my neighbourhood in ‘93.

 

 

 

Y para terminar ¿algo que quieras decir?

And finally, anything you want to say? 

El arte del graffiti, es para disfrutarlo y compartir experiencias los unos con los otros, los egos… mejor dejarlos a un lado, porque hay muchos que van de originales, y luego te das cuenta de que son los que mas copian, y se las dan de sobraos, la envidia es muy mala (jajajaj) ya en serio, mi opinion es, que esta cultura se trata de unirse y crear cosas increíbles aportando todos sus estilos, el buen rollo y demás. Se trata de aprender el uno del otro, y compartir experiencias siempre con buen rollo. Es mi humilde opinión.

The art of graffiti, is to enjoy it and share experiences with each other, egos … better leave them aside, because there are many who go original, and then you realize that they are the ones who copy the most, and give them of sobraos, envy is very bad (hahaha) and seriously, my opinion is that this culture is about joining and create amazing things bringing all their styles, good vibes and others. It’s about learning from each other, and sharing experiences always with good vibes. That’s my humble opinion.
