¿De dónde viene tu apodo?

Where does your pseudonyme come from?

Mi apodo como tal no tiene significado o viene de ningún sitio, simplemente son letras que en su día me parecieron una buena combinación y que ya me seguirán para el resto de mis días, jeje.

My nickname as such has no meaning or comes from nowhere, it’s just letters that once seemed like a good combination and will follow me for the rest of my days, hehe.

 

 

¿Qué te motivó para empezar a pintar?

What motivated you to get started painting?

Empecé de muy pequeño, con 11 años ya estaba rotulador en mano pintando por el barrio….y todo esto por un amigo de la infancia que fue quien me introdujo en este mundillo.

Recuerdo salíamos a pintar y poníamos las firmas de otros amigos mas mayores, ya que yo ni siquiera tenia aun mi nombre propio, pero fue algo que me engancho desde el minuto uno.

I started when I was very young, when I was 11 years old I was already with a marker in hand painting around the neighbourhood…. and all this because of a childhood friend who introduced me to this world.

I remember we used to go out and paint and paint tags of other older friends, as I didn’t even have my own name yet, but it was something that hooked me from the very first minute.

¿Cuál es tu estilo?

What is your style?

Pues según el día más cartoon o mas wild, pero intentando cuidar siempre al máximo la limpieza.

Intento que mis piezas vayan cambiando, experimentando con texturas formas y colores y evito repetir letras ya que creo que esto es la base si uno quiere evolucionar.

Depending on the day, it can be more cartoonish or wild style, but always trying to take care of the cleanliness as much as possible.

I try to make my pieces change, experimenting with textures, shapes and colours and avoid repeating letters as I believe this is the basis if one wants to evolve.

Es siempre un placer colaborar con páginas que apoyan y difunden este movimiento, y también una oportunidad para que la gente conozca algo mas sobre mi y mis trabajos.

It is always a pleasure to collaborate with sites that support and share this culture, and also an opportunity for people to know more about me and my work.

 

 

¿Te acuerdas de la primera pieza?

Do you remember the first piece?

Mi primera pieza fue en Madrid en la antigua piscina Stella de la calle Arturo Soria.

La recuerdo muy bien ya que me desvirgue con un plata, y encima me hice un bajo pero situando la pieza a mitad de altura jaja, todo un puto sin sentido.

My first piece was in Madrid in the old Stella swimming pool in Arturo Soria street.

I remember it very well as I deflowered it with a silver piece, and on top of that I made an ilegal shop wall on the street but placed the piece halfway up haha, all fucking nonsense.

 

 

¿Cuál es tu crew? 

What is your crew?

Me alegro que me preguntes esto, ya que creo soy de los pocos escritores que llevan tiempo en esto y que no forman parte de ninguna crew.

Desde que empecé, siempre he pintado con los que hoy considero mis hermanos, SONK y DVD1, quienes han sido mi mayor inspiración y motivación durante todos estos años.

Los tres nos hemos criado en un pequeño barrio de Madrid llamado Barrio del Salvador, asi que entre nosotros nos hacemos llamar los Salvata, Salvatorz…..etc, aunque no es nada oficial ni nunca lo ponemos en los muros.

I’m glad you asked me this, as I think I’m one of the few writers who have been doing this for a long time and are not part of any crew.

Since I started, I have always painted with what I now consider my brothers, SONK and DVD1, who have been my greatest inspiration and motivation during all these years.

we are friend and we have grew up in a small neighbourhood in Madrid called Salvador neighbourhood, so between us we know ourselves like Salvata, Salvatorz…..etc, although it’s nothing official and we never wrote it on the walls.

And finally, anything you want to say?

Simplemente agradecer que hayas contado conmigo para esta entrevista, y mandar un saludo enorme a toda esa gente que me sigue motivando y animando a seguir adelante cada día (DVD1, SONK y toda mi Salvata Familia, UNLOGIC crew, MUNIS crew….y especialmente también a mi pareja HONEY, quien no para de sorprenderme y animarme a pintar,pintar y pintar!!!).
