Hola, mi nombre es Cloakwork. Un escritor de graffiti, ilustrador así como un viajero. afincado en Kuala Lumpur, Malasia. soñador a menudo y a menudo mi mente experimenta alguna fantasia creativa.
CLOAKWORK esta basicamente separado en dos partes: Cloak y work. Cloak significa oculto, sigilo y camuflaje mientras que Work es sinónimo de movimiento. Hello, My name is Cloakwork. A graffiti artist, illustrator as well as a time traveller. based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Daydream often and my mind experiences some creative fantasy.
CLOAKWORK is basically separated into two parts; ‘cloak’ and ‘work’. Cloak means hidden, stealth and cloaking while work stands for movement. I often do graffiti at night without being noticed. So it goes like this : plain concrete wall during the day, the wall gets ‘cloakwork-ed’ during the night and a colourful graffiti the day after.

I personally think it is great to publishing to the site as I can share my story and vision with the graffiti writers around the globe.

What motivated you to get started being a writer?
Siempre he sido un chico rebelde, en contra de todo lo establecido. Durante mi vida como estudiante de ilustración, pensaba que seria impresionante hacer algo extraordinario fuera de la vida ordinaria, y elegí el graffiti!
I have always been a rebel as a child, against all the mainstreams. During my student life as an illustrator, I thought it would be awesome to do something extraordinary out of the ordinary life, and i choose graffiti!

Where would you like to paint?
Espero ver Japón hay muchos talentos inexplorados alli.
I hope to see Japan as there are many unexplored talents there.
¿Cuál es tu estilo?
What is your style?
Me gustaría describir mi estilo que se inclina hacia las movidas urbanas, dibujos animados y criaturas, funky y hipster. Pinto personajes con colores vibrantes que atraen a los ciudadanos y les dan vibraciones positivas.
I would describe my style leans toward urban-ish, cartoon-y, creature, funky and hipster. I paint characters with vibrant colours that appeal to citizens and give them positive vibes.

El Graffiti en Malasia sigue estancado en el área gris y espero que al compartir mi obra, pueda inspirar, iluminar y llevar alegría a mis amigos a pesar de todas las cosas negativas que han estado ocurriendo en este país.
Graffiti in Malaysia is still stagnant in grey area and I hope by sharing my artwork, I can inspire, enlighten and bring joy to my friend despite all negative things that have been happening in this country.

Si es arte o vandalismo, no hay ningún punto de la discusión para que el graffiti, esto es muy subjetivo. Para mí, cada vez que hago graffiti, le pongo esfuerzo y dejo que el público juzgue. » La belleza está en el ojo del espectador » Si les gusta, van a disfrutarlo.
Whether it is art or vandalism, there is no point of arguing for graffiti is very subjective. For me, everytime I do graffiti, I put in effort and leave it for the public to judge. «Beauty is in the eye of the beholder» If they like it, they will enjoy it.
