¿De dónde viene tu apodo?
Where does your pseudonym come from?
El tag ¨boker¨ viene de la inquietud por el graffiti en los tiempos de preparatoria ( a los 16 años de edad) tratando de buscar un seudónimo que se adecuara a las letras que mejor podía realizar en aquellos días pasando por ¨BOK¨ y ajustando la terminación ¨er¨ que veía en varios escritores de mi zona.
The tag ¨boker¨ comes from the concern for graffiti in high school times (at 16 years of age) trying to find a pseudonym that would suit the letters that he could best do in those days going through ¨BOK¨ and adjusting the ending ¨er¨ that I saw in various writers in my area.
¿Qué te motivó para empezar a pintar?
What motivated you to get started painting?
Como muchos escritores de graffiti mi principal motivación fue la observación de mi círculo social. Al ver que varios de mis amistades lo realizaban comencé con la inquietud por la pintura y realice mis primeras firmas y bocetos de la mano de la música rap y la cultura hip-hop.
Like many graffiti writers my main motivation was the observation of my social circle. Seeing that several of my friends were doing it, I began with an interest in painting and made my first tags and sketches hand in hand with rap music and hip-hop culture.
¿Cuál es tu estilo?
What is your style?
Podría intentar definir mi estilo como una mezcla de wild style con una estructura.
Ya que comencé realizando wild style y con el paso del tiempo fui interesándome un poco más en el equilibrio, las proporciones y la simetría de mis piezas, modificando o invirtiendo algunas letras para poder obtener una base más solida y simétrica en las mismas pero sin dejar a un lado el aspecto y la esencia del wild style siendo este un estudio constante entre cada pieza que pinto.
I could try to define my style as a mix of wild style with a structure. Since I started doing wild style and with the passage of time I became more interested in the balance, proportions and symmetry of my pieces, modifying or inverting some letters to obtain a more solid and symmetrical base in them but without leaving aside the aspect and the essence of the wild style, this being a constant study between each piece that I paint.

Creo que es una excelente oportunidad de apertura para el trabajo de la gente que realizamos este tipo de graffiti como disciplina, ya que esta nos puede hacer llegar a lugares o personas que les interesa el mismo medio a las que quizás de manera individual no podríamos llegar de manera individual así como para las personas que consumimos de manera visual graffiti de otros lados fuera de nuestro país nos ayuda a tener una retroalimentación con proyectos de otras personas. Siempre es importante observar y aprender de manera visual.
I think it is an excellent opening opportunity for the work of the people who do this type of graffiti as a discipline, since it can make us reach places or people who are interested in the same medium that perhaps we could not reach individually. individually as well as for people who visually consume graffiti from other places outside our country helps us to have feedback with other people’s projects. ¿Te acuerdas de la primera pieza?

Jamás podría olvidar mi primera pieza, fue por el año 2009, una pieza color azul cielo con corte negro con una marca de aerosol ferretero, en ese momento los aerosoles eran económicos pero mi situación económica no era la mejor. Un colega de nuestro barrio nos prestó la primera pared que pintaría de forma legal, ahorre un poco de dinero para ir a comprar el material que necesitaría dejando de comer en la escuela. Llego el día. y con la emoción y la duda de cómo iba a quedar, inseguridad al desconocer cómo realizar un trazo firme o si quiera un trazo recto. Una mezcla de emociones por no saber si lo estaba realizando bien. Pero con una felicidad de por fin estarlo haciendo. Esa sensación hasta el día de hoy me aborda cada que voy a iniciar un muro.
I could never forget my first piece, it was around the year 2009, a sky blue piece with a black cut with a brand of hardware store aerosol, at that time the aerosols were cheap but my economic situation was not the best. A colleague from our neighborhood lent us the first wall that he would paint legally, I saved a little money to go buy the material that I would need by leaving lunch at school. Came the day. and with the emotion and the doubt of how it was going to be, insecurity when not knowing how to make a firm line or even a straight line. A mix of emotions from not knowing if he was doing it right. But with happiness to finally be doing it. That feeling to this day comes to me every time I start a wall.

Agradezco mucho el espacio y la difusión que este medio puede dar a mí y a cualquier escritor de graffiti. Siempre tratamos de generar esto más que un pasatiempo una forma de vivir y una disciplina constante en la cual debes desarrollarte día a día trabajando tu gráfica y educando a tu ojo generando propuestas y jamás dejando de crear.
Espero que este camino continúe durante mucho tiempo y poder colaborar con muchas personas talentosas dentro de este medio.
I am very grateful for the space and dissemination that this medium can give me and any graffiti writer. We always try to generate this more than a hobby, a way of living and a constant discipline in which you must develop day by day working on your graphics and educating your eye, generating proposals and never stopping creating.
I hope that this path will continue for a long time and that I will be able to collaborate with many talented people within this medium.
