¿De dónde viene tu apodo? 

Where does your pseudonym come from?

Mi apodo viene de mi apellido que es Bustamante y pues desde pequeño me han llamado Busta.

My nickname comes from my surname which is Bustamante and since I was a child I have been called Busta.

 

 

¿Qué te motivó para empezar a pintar? 

What motivated you to get started painting?

Desde pequeño empecé a hacer skateboarding y el graffiti y el hiphop siempre estuvieron de la mano, también recuerdo ver mucho graffiti en mi ciudad y eso siempre me llamo mucho la atención y me motivó a intentarlo.

Since I was little I started skateboarding and graffiti and hip hop always went hand in hand, I also remember looking a lot of graffiti in my city and that always caught my attention and motivated me to try it.

 

  

¿Cuál es tu estilo? 

What is your style? 

La verdad no se que estilo tengo, me gusta mucho explorar diferentes estilos pero el realismo y el graffiti 3d/model pastel son mis estilos favoritos.

I don’t really know what style I do, I really like to explore different styles but realism and graffiti 3d/model pastel are my favourite styles.

What do you think about the idea of us publishing your artworks on our web «elrincondelasboquillas.com»?

Me parece una oportunidad muy buena el poder tener un espacio para poder mostrar no solo nuestro trabajo pero un poco de nuestra historia y admiro mucho el trabajo que haces por el graffiti.

I think it’s a great opportunity to have a place to show not only our work but a bit of our history and I really admire the work you do for graffiti.

 

 

¿Te acuerdas de la primera pieza?

Do you remember the first piece?

Me acuerdo que fue como en el 2005 estaba con unos amigos en un callejon y teníamos unos botes de una marca que se llama aerocolor de colombia y no teníamos ni idea de lo que estábamos haciendo pero hicimos unos throwups muy feos.

I remember in 2005 I was with some friends in an alley and we had some cans of a brand called aerocolor from Colombia and we had no idea what we were doing but we made some very ugly throwups.
