Waffle
It is a really long story i took another old friends tag and remade it to Wafl. Eventually people started to call me the waffle so thats why im the Waffle now.
Es una historia muy larga. Cogí la firma de otro viejo amigo y la convertí en Wafl. Al final, la gente empezó a llamarme «el gofre en inglés waffle», así que ahora soy Waffle.
¿Qué te motivó para empezar a pintar?
What motivated you to get started painting?
Siempre me gustó pintar y crecí con padres artistas. Cuando tenía 10 años, en un viaje a Italia, vi tantas obras geniales y vagones completos que empecé a dibujar mis propias letras.
I always liked painting and grew up with artistic parents, on a trip to Italy when i was 10 i saw so many cool pieces and whole cars so i started to sketch on my own letters.
¿Qué es lo que más te gusta del graffiti y lo que menos?
What do you like most about graffiti and what do you like least?
Lo que más me gusta son los lugares que puedes visitar y la cantidad de amigos que haces por el camino. Por todo el mundo. Y el fuerte vínculo que se crea con algunos de ellos.
Lo peor es que también pierdes a mucha gente y que a veces puedes verte demasiado envuelto en todo esto.
The thing i like the most are the places you get to see and the amount of friends you make along the way. All over the world. And the tight bond you make with some of them.
The thing thats the worst is that you loose a lot of people too, and that you can sometimes be to caught up in this shit.

I like connections all over! Even tho im sometimes bad to keep the contact with friends. Im always down!.
¿Te acuerdas de la primera pieza?
Do you remember the first piece?
Mi primera obra ilegal la hice debajo de un puente cerca de casa. Le pregunté a mi padrastro qué debía escribir y él me dijo «Ugnspannkaka UPK», que significa «tortita horneada», así que hice una obra con las letras UPK y sentí miedo y orgullo al mismo tiempo por que la vieran.
Soy de Luleå, en el norte de Suecia, cerca del círculo polar ártico, donde siempre hemos tenido largos periodos en los que todas las paredes y los trenes están completamente cubiertos de escarcha. La escena del graffiti en trenes se hizo fuerte porque los trenes de mercancías del sur llegaban aquí sin escarcha ni hielo en invierno.
Y en verano tenías el sol de medianoche y podías pintar todo lo que quisieras durante toda la noche (si tenías protección contra los mosquitos).
My first illegal piece i made was under a bridge close to home, i asked my stepdad what to write and he said ”Ugnspannkaka UPK” which means owns baked pancake so i made a UPK piece and was both scared and proud at the same time for them to se it.
I am from Luleå in the north of Sweden next to the arctic circle, we have always had long periods when all the walls and trains are completely covered in frost. The freight scene grew strong because of freights from southern regions came up here without frost and ice in the winter.
And in the summer you had the midnight sun and could pain anything all night long (if you have mosquito protection).

A veces, cuando te sientes atrapado en tus propios problemas, habla con un amigo, ríete de ello y, de repente, ¡te encontrarás en un nuevo lugar!.
Sometimes when you feel caught up in your own shit talk to a friend, laugh about it and all of a sudden you’re at a new place!.
