¿De dónde viene tu apodo?
Where does your pseudonym come from?
Mi apodo viene a ser el diminutivo de mi nombre, Uri y KTHR que viene de Cateura, que viene a ser el apellido de mi madre a quien le debo todo por su incondicional apoyo.
My tag comes to be the diminutive of my name, Uri and KTHR that comes from Cateura, which happens to be the name of my mother to whom I owe everything for his unconditional support.
¿Qué te motivó para empezar a pintar?
What motivated you to get started painting?
Llevo dibujando y pintando toda la vida, siempre ha sido mi mayor interés a lo largo de mi vida. Tuve gente de mi alrededor desde pequeño envuelto en el mundo del graffiti, pero nunca le presté atención más allá de verlo y disfrutarlo, a mi me gustaba dibujar con un papel y un lápiz. Más adelante, cuando estaba ya en los estudios artísticos, empecé a conocer a gente que me invitaba a probarlo, y finalmente acabé yendo con ellos a pintar alguna pieza suelta por ahí. No fue hasta 2017-2018 que empecé a tomarlo un poco más en serio y a descubrir que me gustaba la técnica y se ajustaba a mi obra el hecho de que estuviera en la calle.
I have been drawing and painting all my life, it has always been my greatest interest throughout my life. I had people around me since I was a little girl involved in the world of graffiti, but I never paid attention to them beyond seeing them and enjoying them, I liked drawing with a paper and a pencil. Later, when I was already in the art studios, I started to meet people who invited me to try it, and finally I ended up going with them to paint some loose pieces out there. It was not until 2017-2018 that I started to take it a little more seriously and to discover that I liked the technique and the fact that I was on the street fit my work.

What is your style?
Diría que mi estilo podría ser la ilustración realista, tirando un poco al concept art.
I would say that my style could be realistic illustration, pulling a little to concept art.

¿Te acuerdas de la primera pieza?
Do you remember the first piece?
No fue exactamente mi primera pieza, pero sí que la considero como tal ya que fue la primera vez que fui al muro con una idea decente de que quería pintar uno de mis dibujos en muro. Fue a finales del 2017, tomamos prestado un carrito de la cobra del super, lo llenamos de pintura y fuimos a una riera a pintar. Recuerdo quedarme ahí hasta tarde, peleándome con los sprays para que me saliera lo que quería. La verdad que fue muy gratificante, y ahí mi cabeza hizo un click y tenía por seguro que ese es el camino que quería seguir. Mi estilo no ha cambiado tanto, ha evolucionado, eso sí. No soy muy creyente en la gente que se queda estancada pintando siempre lo mismo por mucho que funcione. Pero igual si que algún día me gustaría hacer un remake de esa pieza que fue pisada recientemente.
It wasn’t exactly my first piece, but I do consider it as such as it was the first time I went to the wall with a decent idea that I wanted to paint one of my drawings on the wall. It was the end of 2017, we borrowed a super cobra cart, filled it with paint and went to a river to paint. I remember staying up late, fighting with the sprays to get what I wanted. The truth was that it was very gratifying, and there my head clicked and I had for sure that is the path I wanted to follow. My style hasn’t changed so much, it’s evolved, though. I’m not a big believer in people getting stuck painting the same stuff no matter how much it works. But maybe someday I’d like to remake that piece that was recently stepped on.

Estoy en LVS, con mis colegas de los alrededores de Barcelona. Y no hará mucho empecé con TCN también a nivel ya más nacional.
I’m at LVS, with my friends from around Barcelona. And I didn’t start with TCN too much at a national level.
