¿Qué te motivó para empezar a ser un escritor de graffiti?
What motivated you to get started being a graffiti writer?
Vi una pieza enorme y pompas que aparecieron en algunas paredes al sur de la ciudad.
Simplemente no tenia idea sobre esta cultura porque no había Internet en ese momento, y sigo buscando al que hizo aquello. Así que finalmente conocí a a gente que pintaba. Eran algunos, estudiantes del colegio extranjero y al final el hecho de pintar juntos también hizo que compartiéramos el conocimiento sobre el graffiti.
I saw a big size piece and throwups that appear on some walls at the south of the city.
I didn’t have an idea about this culture because there was no internet at that time, and nowadays i keep searching who’s the people behind it. So finally i met some of them. They were some student from foreign school and at the end we painted together also sharing knowledge about graffiti.
¿Qué tratas de decir con tus graffitis?
What do you try to say with your graffiti?
Creo que mi estilo está basado en la forma, dimensión, y colores. Y mi arte siempre se refleja en las cosas que me rodean o lo que sea que se cruce en mi mente. De eso puedo pintar lo que quiera.
I think that my style is based on the shape, dimensión, and colors. And my artwork always reflects to things around me or whatever that cross in my mind. From that I can paint whatever i like.
¿Cuál es tu estilo?
What is your style?
Simplemente no sé cómo se llama, pero me gusta pintar en geometría.
I just don’t know what is called, but i like paint in geometrics .
¿Te importaria contarnos como es un día normal en tu semana?
Would you mind telling us how is your normal day during the week?
Tengo trabajo como ilustrador y animador freelance en algunos estudios, ademas de que pinto lienzos, pinto murales y estoy con mi familia.
I have work as a freelance illustrator and animator at some studios, beside that i paint canvas, i usually paint mural and i have a family.

Estoy personalmente honrado por eso. Me alegro de que pueda representar mis obras junto a muchos grandes artistas de todo el mundo, compartiendo una cierta pasión y tener esa conexión. Es un placer, colega … de verdad!

Where would you like to paint?
Cualquier lugar. Pero realmente espero pintar algo grande en Japón.
Anyplace. But I really hope to paint something big in Japan.
¿Puedes hablarnos del graffiti en tu ciudad?
Can you talk us about the graffiti in your city?
La escena de graffiti de Yakarta comienza alrededor del año 2000. La gente sólo sabia sobre los tags de la escuela, ellos no sabían sobre el graffiti en ese momento. El Graffiti comienza a exponer cuando algunos personajes de graffiti locales aparecen en la pared pública, mezclando pintura de pared y reservas mínimas de latas de sprays locales.
En 2004, vino alguien de Osaka a Yakarta e introdujo boquillas a la gente de aquí A partir de ahí empezamos a aprender acerca de las boquillas y líneas finas.
Este fenómeno crece rápido, especialmente cuando apareció Internet y abrimos los ojos sobre lo que era el graffiti. Comienza desde eso la fiebre del graffiti en Yakarta, se extiende a otra isla de Indonesia. En este momento, Indonesia obtuvo toneladas de buenos escritores con un estilo único y creo que nuestro país se convirtió en uno de los destinos mas apetecibles para pintar estando de vacaciones de todo el mundo.
Jakarta’s graffiti scene is start around 2000. People just known about school tagging, they didn’t know about graffiti at that time. Graffiti start expose when some local graffiti character’s appear on public wall, done by mixing wall paint and minimal stocks of local spraycans.
In 2004, Very one from Osaka came to Jakarta and introduce scotch female caps to the locals. From there we start learn about fat and skinny lines technics.
This phenomena grow fast, specially when internet came and opened our eyes about what graffiti is. Start from Jakarta, graffiti fever spreading into other island of Indonesia. Right now, Indonesia got tons of good writer’s with unique style and i believe our country became one of world wide writer’s spraycation destination list.
