Mi nombre es «SEMOR» y soy de Alemania. Empecé a la edad de 7 años. Cuando era crío escribía con tiza en mi cuarto. Escribía letras en diferentes estilos en la pared, pero no tenia la menor idea de lo que era graffiti y escribir
Cogí el nombre de la película de «Los Simpsons». El director de Bart se llamaba Seymor Skinner. Me gusta el sonido del nombre y cambie las letras a «SEMOR» y continuo pintando este nombre.
Hice mi primera pieza sobre finales del año 1993 y escribía las letras de «NES». Ese fue el principio de mi pasión por escribir.
My name is “SEMOR” and I´m from Germany. I started at the age of 7 years old. When I was a kid I wrote with chalk in my room. I wrote letters in different styles on the wall, but I didn´t have the faintest idea it was called graffiti or writing.
I got my name of the film “The Simpsons”. Barts rectors name is Seymor Skinner. I like the sound of the name, so I changed the letters into “SEMOR” and so on I´m painting that name.
I did my first piece towards the end of 1993 and wrote the letters “NES”. That was the official beginning of my passion with writing.

Pienso que es una buena manera de mostrar lo que se esta haciendo en otros paises.

¿Qué te motivó para empezar a ser un escritor de graffiti?
What motivated you to get started being a graffiti writer?
La película «Style Wars». Había un tio que escribía SOVE. Era cebado en aquella época, buenas letras!
La escena de graffiti en la ciudad donde nací era realmente pequeña. Cerca de mi ciudad estaba un escritor llamado MAZE. En esta época sus personajes y estilos fueron locos. El es ahora uno de los mas famosos tatuadores de Alemania.
Empece con algunos tracksides y también le di de normal a algún pequeño muro en mi ciudad, pero mayormente para practicar el control. Fue un buen tiempo, un tiempo cuando encontrabas cualquier cosa por ti mismo con las boquillas que pudieras utilizar.

The graffiti scene in the city where I was born was really small too. Close to my town was a writer named MAZE. At this time his characters and styles were insane. He’s now one of the most famous tattoo artists in Germany.
I started with some tracksides and also hit a small wall quite regularly in my town, but mostly to practice my can control. That was a great time, a time when you had to find out everything by yourself, experimenting with which caps you could use.
¿Dónde te gusta pintar?
Where do you like to paint?
Me gusta pintar en zonas abandonadas y trenes, pero también en medios mixtos. Cuando trabajo en mi estudio pinto madera vieja y cajas. Es una buena sensacion pintar sobre superficies.
I like to paint in abandoned areas and trains, but also mixed medias. When I work in my studio I´m painting on old wood and boxes. It’s a good feeling to paint on may surfaces.

¿Cómo te imaginas el graffiti en el futuro (Año 2085)?
How do you imagine graffiti in the future (Year 2085)?
En mi opinion el graffiti esta yendo mas y mas en diferentes modos. No puedo decirte como estará el graffiti en 2085, pero mira como cambio desde 1970 hasta 2014. Hay mucho potencial.
In my opinion graffiti is going more and more in different ways. I can´t tell you how graffiti will be in 2085, but take a look how it changed from 1970 to 2014. There is so much potential.
¿Puedes hablarnos del graffiti en tu ciudad?
Can you tell us something about graffiti in your city?
La escena en la zona donde crecí era bastante pequeña. Yo vivo cerca de Colonia (Köln) y Colonia no tiene este estilo típico como Hamburgo o Berlin. Colonia tiene una mezcla con diferentes tipos de estilos. No hay muchos lugares para pintar legal. Supongo que esto es porque puedes ver mucho bombing por la calle, tags y buenos trenes pintados. Colonia es uno de los mas interesantes lugares en Alemania, debido a la mezcla.
The scene in the area where I grew up was pretty small. I live close to Cologne (Köln) and Cologne hasn´t that typical style like Hamburg or Berlin. Cologne has a nice mix with a lot of different kind of styles. There are not so many places to paint legal. I guess that’s why you can see so many street bombings, tags and nice painted trains. Cologne is one of the most interesting places in Germany, because of the mix.
