¿De dónde viene tu apodo?
Where does your pseudonym come from?
No tiene un motivo en especial, solo tenía 14 años cuando empece a poner ride y lo fui eligiendo letra a letra, recuerdo que quería tener una I y una D seguidas por un escritor de mi zona que solía ver mucho y la R y la E para los extremos me parecieron que tenían mucho juego.
It has no special reason, I was only 14 years old when I started writing ride and I was choosing it letter by letter, I remember that I wanted to have an I and a D followed by a writer in my area that I used to see a lot and the R and E for the ends seemed to me that they had a lot of game.
¿Qué te motivó para empezar a pintar?
What motivated you to get started painting?
Pues empecé en un típico momento de boom en el que mucha gente empieza a pintar, animado por colegas que parecían motivadisimos, aparte de que siempre me llamaron la atención los graffitis que veía por donde fuese. A parte el colegio donde crecí siempre estuvo lleno de graffiti y supongo que es algo que nos motivo a muchos.
Well, I started in a typical boom time when many people start to paint, encouraged by colleagues who seemed very motivated, besides I was always attracted by the graffiti I saw everywhere I went. Besides, the school where I grew up was always full of graffiti and I guess that’s something that motivated many of us.
¿Cuál es tu estilo?
What is your style?
No sé si de identifica con algún estilo en concreto pero recuerdo que siempre estuve lokoo con el wildstyle , esa agresividad y el dinamismo que sugieren es lo que he intentado representar en mis graffitis pero no sé si se puede decir q ago Wild stile. También me gustan mucho las líneas horizontales, me dan mucho juego y contrastan muy bien con líneas orgánicas, siempre he dicho que me encantaría pintar sucio pero creo q tengo un estilo que pide hacerlo limpio y no me quedó a gusto si no está nítido del todo.
I don’t know if I identify with any particular style but I remember that I was always crazy about wildstyle, that aggressiveness and dynamism that suggest is what I have tried to represent in my graffiti but I don’t know if you can say that I do wild style. I also like the horizontal lines, they give me a lot of play and contrast very well with organic lines, I have always said that I would love to paint dirty but I think I have a style that asks me to do it clean and I do not feel comfortable if it is not clear at all.

¿Te acuerdas de la primera pieza?
Do you remember the first piece?
Me acuerdo como si fuera ayer, fue en una caseta de los militares de mi zona, donde debían guardar material, un poco apartado del cuartel por supuesto, podíamos estar tranquilos. Fue en Marzo del 2008 cuando nos juntamos 4 amigos que después de aver estado boceteando en clase nos fuimos a pintar a la tarde El estilo no tenía nada que ver con lo que hago ahora ya que eran letras que no había por donde cogerlas, lo único que tenía de graffiti es que estaba en la calle jajaj lo recuerdo con nostalgia ya que de esa cuadrilla solo quedamos dos que pintamos y fue una tarde de risas y motivación.
I remember as if it were yesterday, it was in a military hut in my area, where they had to keep material, a little away from the barracks of course, we could be quiet. It was in March 2008 when we got together 4 friends that after aver been sketching in class we went to paint in the afternoon. The style had nothing to do with what I do now because they were letters that were nowhere to catch them, the only thing that had graffiti is that it was in the street hahahah I remember it with nostalgia because of that group only two of us were left to paint and it was an afternoon of laughter and motivation.

What is your crew?
Mi grupo es Huevos Rotos (HRS) y lo componemos tres escritores Soru, Cesa y yo. Pintamos juntos desde casi nuestro inicio ya que somos del mismo barrio y hemos sido un poco autistas en ese aspecto y hemos ido a nuestro pedo. (Y eso que el panorama de Pamplona es una gozada y hemos conocido a muchos amigos en este tiempo)
My group is Huevos Rotos (HRS) and it is made up of three writers Soru, Cesa and myself. We have been painting together since almost the beginning since we are from the same neighborhood and we have been a bit autistic in that aspect and we have gone our own way (and that’s because the Pamplona scene is great and we have met many friends during this time).

Decir que he estado en muchos sitios y he escuchado muchas definiciones distintas del graffiti, hay personas que nunca estarán de acuerdo pero eso no quita para respetar lo que piensa cada uno. En un mundo en el que abunda la diversidad, afrontarla con intolerancia es la opción menos inteligente, con esto no digo que todo valga, y ahora más que nunca con el recurso fácil del antiestilo, veo bien que un escritor que ha pasado por varios estilos acabe haciendo frescuras y cosas sucias o de antiestilo, pero me apena ver a chavales que empiezan y en vez de pasar por ese proceso de aprendizaje tanto de formas como de técnica se pongan a hacer cosas sin sentido. To say that I have been in many places and I have heard many different definitions of graffiti, there are people who will never agree but that does not detract from respecting what each one thinks. In a world where diversity abounds, to confront it with intolerance is the least intelligent option, with this I am not saying that everything is valid, and now more than ever with the easy resource of anti-style, I see well that a writer who has gone through several styles ends up doing freshness and dirty things or anti-style, but it saddens me to see kids who start and instead of going through the learning process of both forms and technique they start to do things without sense.
