Why is your tag Plaque One?
Empecé la vida de mi graffiti con el tag «Dr. Retro». Me gustaba este nombre, lo robe de la serie de TV «Parker Levis». El personaje principal comienza un programa de radio underground y fue su alter ego. Alrededor del año 1998 estaba buscando un nombre nuevo. El nombre debería existir en diferentes lenguas y no debería ser un nombre de ficción sin significado. Me gusta el sonido de Q en el centro porque hay mucho espacio para la interpretación. Desde los últimos 3 o 4 años no me gustan las letras realmente, pero este es el nombre por el que me conocen.
I was starting my graffiti life with the tag “Dr. Retro”. I loved this name, it was stolen from the TV serie “Parker Lewis”. The main character starts a underground radioshow and this was his alter ego. Around 1998 i was looking for an new name. The name should exist in different languages and it shouldn’t be a fiction name without any meaning. I love the sound and the Q in the center, because there is a lot of space for interpretation. Since the last 3 or 4 years i don’t like the letters really anymore, but that’s the name i known for.

What do you try to say with your graffiti?
El primer mensaje para mi es el estilo. Me gusta el estilo clásico de letras en una presentación clara. Prefiero mirar claro al estilo sin demasiados colores y efectos. Esto es lo mas importante para mi.
The main message for me is style. I like the classic way of graffiti lettering in a pretty clean presentation. I prefer a clear look to the style without too much colors and effects. Thats the most important for me.

Si hombre, esto es magnifico. Con internet hay una gran posibilidad para publicar las movidas y permanecer en contacto con gente buena que esta activa de alrededor del mundo. Sigue haciéndolo!

¿Qué te motivó para empezar a ser un escritor de graffiti?
What motivated you to get started being a graffiti writer?
La cosa que más me motivó para mi fue la posibilidad de crear cualquier cosa, ver la ciudad en tu propio juego y hacer cualquier cosa fuera de la sociedad. Como todo el mundo empecé con el graffiti ilegal en 1995 en el este de Alemania. fue una buena época, porque el graffiti no estaba sobrexpuesto como hoy en día Te dabas cuenta que cada tag y lugar de ahi era realmente una comunidad underground.
The most motivating thing for me was the possibility to create something, to see the city as your own playground and to do something outside the society. Like everybody i was starting with illegal graffiti in 1995 in eastern germany. This was a great time, becauce graffiti wasn’t totally overdosed like today. You recognized every tag and peace and it was really a underground community there.
¿Puedes hablarnos del graffiti en tu ciudad?
Can you talk about this as the graffiti in your city?
Colonia es una ciudad buena y vivo allí durante 11 years, pero mi corazón esta todavía en mi ciudad natal Dresden. En colonia hay muchos treneros y me gusta ver nuevas movidas dando vueltas especialmente porque conozco algunos tíos jóvenes y estoy feliz de ver la actividad mucho respeto!
Cologne is a cool city and i live there for 11 years, but my heart is still in my hometown Dresden. In cologne there are a lot of train writers and i like to see new stuff rolling especially because i know some of the young guys and iam happy to see the activity- mucho respecto!
¿Cuál es tu crew?
What is your crew?
Soy miembro de la crew Bandits. La crew fue fundada en 1994 en Dresden desde mi hombre SLIDER. El es una gran inspiración! Mientras tanto somos una crew de graffiti clásico, somos conocidos por el buen estilo, y el graffiti clásico con producciones de gran calidad. Nuestra crew es mas como una hermandad y no es fácil juntar nuevos miembros. La relación personal es la cosa mas importante. Me gusta y a todo el mundo de nosotros permanecemos al 100 % detrás de la idea de crew y estoy orgulloso de ser parte de ella.
I am a member of the BANDITS CREW. The crew was founded in 1994 in Dresden from my man SLIDER. He is a great inspiration! Meanwhile we are a classic graffiti crew, well known for good styles, classic graffiti and big quality productions. Our crew is more like a brotherhood and it’s not easy to join for new members. The personal reletionship is the most important thing. I love it and everbody of us stands 100% behind the crew idea and i am proud to be a part of it.
¿Cuáles son tus escritores favoritos?
What are your favorite writers?
Atom y Dare. Estos dos estilos son el estilo optimo para mi. Pero también me gustan las movidas de mis compañeros de crew, Soten también es realmente agradable y Wert de Italia son unas maquinas con un estilo loco. En los personajes me gustan Hombre y Anus. Pon tus ojos en INTRO. EL es un tio con talento desde el este de Alemania con una buena mano para personajes, me gusta pintar con los tíos de DFE crew.
Atom and Dare. This 2 styles are the optimum of style for me. But i also like the stuff of my crew colleagues, Soten is also really nice and Wert from Italy are a crazy style machine. In the character section i love the Anus and Hombre characters really. And take your eyes on INTRO. He is a very talented guy from west germany with a great hand for characters, i love to paint with him and his guys of the DFE crew.

And to finish something you want to say?
Yeah, mantente haciendo movidas de buena calidad para intentar ser mejor cada día, no importa lo que hagas. Diviértete y respeta a la gente agradable. Ama a la gente y apoya a tu familia y amigos.
