¿Qué te motivó para empezar a ser un escritor de graffiti?
What motivated you to get started being a graffiti writer?
Empecé a entrar en el Graffiti cuando fui a París de niño con mi familia y vi graffitis en todas partes y me gustó mucho, así que quería hacerlo y luego unos meses más tarde comencé a taquear y después empecé a pintar, comencé a pintar piezas pequeñas y luego fui haciéndolas más grandes.
I started to get into Graffiti when i went to Paris as a child with my family and saw graffiti everywhere and i really liked it, so then I wanted to sketch it out and then a few months later i started to tag and start painting then further on started to paint small pieces and then it went off from there.

What do you try to say with your graffiti?
Creo que el graffiti es algo muy positivo, que reúne a personas de todos los ámbitos de la vida en otro aspecto de la vida. En el graffiti hay muchas oportunidades para ser original, eres tu mismo y fiel a ti mismo. Eso es lo que intento y digo cuando pinto, intento seguir probando cosas nuevas, desarrollar nuevos estilos.
I think graffiti is a very positive thing, it brings people together from all walks of life into another walk of life, In graffiti there are many oppotunities to be original, yourself and true to yourself. Thats what i try and say when i paint, to keep trying new things, develop new styles.

What is your style?
El estilo que pinto normalmente es wildstyle, siempre he hecho este estilo, sin embargo también disfruto pintando otros estilos como son letras a bloques, son divertidas y a veces desafiantes porque son letras mayúsculas. Me gusta pintar cosas nuevas de vez en cuando para probar mi confianza cuando se trata de cosas nuevas, probar nuevos estilos y formas de letras, esto es importante porque aprendes muchas habilidades nuevas, formas de construir las letras, pero para mí es el wildstyle, me gusta el wildstyle porque estás jugando mucho con las letras pero, en esencia, la estructura de las letras todavía está allí, o debería estar todavía allí.
The style i paint is normally wildstyle, ive always been into it, however i do also enjoy painting blockbusters aswell, they are fun and sometimes challenging because they are block letters. I like to paint new things occasionally to test out my confidence when it comes to new things, trying new styles and letterforms is important because you learn alot of new skills, ways of building up the letters, But for me it is wildstyle, i love wildstyle because you are playing around with the letters so much but in essence the letter structure is still there, or should still be there.

Creo que es bueno, porque más personas entenderán cómo trabajo y qué quiero lograr a través del graffiti.
I think it is good, because more people will understand how i work and what i want to achieve through graffiti.
¿Dónde te gustaría pintar?
Where would you like to paint?
Me gustaría pintar en cualquier parte del mundo, América del Sur me fascina, Asia y el Medio Oriente me sorprenden (debido a la cultura árabe en parte), por lo que es difícil decir si hay un lugar donde quiero pintar, pero hay muchos lugares donde realmente me gustaría pintar y experimentar. Ya he viajado a lugares a los que siempre quise ir, por ejemplo, Lisboa y Viena. Experimentar estos dos lugares te inspira a conseguir nuevas ideas y conocer nuevas culturas. Si tuviera que elegir 3 lugares en la identificación mundial para viajar a Los Ángeles, Bogotá y Marsella, hay muchos otros lugares que quiero visitar por lo que mis 3 mejores lugares siempre cambian.
I would like to paint anywhere in the world, South America fascinates me, Asia and the middle east amazes me (because of a part Arabic background), so its hard to say if there is one place i want to paint but theres many places i would really like to paint in and experience. Ive already travelled to places that i always wanted to go, for example Lisbon and Vienna. Experiencing these two places makes you inspired to new ideas and new cultures. If i had to pick 3 places in the world id like to travel to it would be Los Angeles, Bogota and Marsielle, theres so many other places i want to visit and my top 3 places always change.

How do you imagine graffiti in the future (Year 2085)?
Creo que el Graffiti es difícil de imaginar en el año de 2085, habrán muchos más estilos que se crearán con el paso del tiempo. Creo que muchas cosas cambiarán y los estilos cambiarán, pero espero que la gente siga superando los límites.
I think Graffiti is hard to imagine in the year of 2085, theres so many more styles that are going to be created. I think alot of things will change and styles will change, but i hope people keep pushing the boundaries.
¿Qué es lo que más te gusta del graffiti que te mantiene haciendolo?
What do you like the most about graffiti that keeps you doing it?
Mis inspiraciones, mis amigos, los lugares a los que he viajado, los lugares a los que quiero viajar y también sigo superando mi estilo. Los escritores que tienen un gran ego, descalificando a la gente, mentirosos y personas que sacan a la gente con muy poco bien, este tipo de escritores no me interesan, sin embargo las personas que se divierten, pintan y se ríen y quienes me apoyan a hacerlo mejor son los escritores que me dan ganas de seguir pintando, y también a mí mismo me esfuerzo por ser mejor y probar cosas nuevas y conseguir un estilo que me defina.
My inspirations, my friends, the places I have travelled to, the places I want to travel too and too keep pushing my style. The writers that have big ego’s, putting people down for no reason, liars, and people who dog people out with very little good, these types of writers don’t interest me, however the people who have fun, paint and have a laugh and who push me to do better are the writers that make me want to keep painting, and also myself I push myself to be better and try new things and style out.

What is your real job?
En el futuro, me encantaría vivir de la pintura (no de la venta). Hay una gran diferencia entre ganarse la vida y venderse. En este momento, mientras estudio, trabajo en una cocina, esto también es divertido, completamente diferente a la pintura, pero trabajo en la cocina con personas extranjeras, por lo que a veces esto me inspira porque escucho otros idiomas.
In the future i would love to make a living from painting (not a sellout) theres a big different between making a living and being a sellout. At the moment whilst i am studying, i work in a kitchen, this is fun too, completely different to painting but i work in a kitchen with all foreign people so sometimes this inspires me becuase i hear other languages.

Sí, algo para los escritores nuevos y futuros, sacate un tag agradable y desarrolla un estilo agradable, pero no copies, porque eso no es verdadero para ti. Cuando comienzas a divertirte pintando y aprendiendo cosas nuevas, te divertirás más que si te obligas a ser notado, sí, es bueno ser reconocido por tus primeras influencias, pero no molestarlas o forzarte a que te reconozcan en Internet, quedarán más impresionados por lo que pintes y la frecuencia con la que pintes que por cómo comentas sus fotos. También elimina la actitud de «gran hombre» de llamar a los escritores solo porque se sobrepasaron, esto es graffiti, casi todo lo tuyo será cubierto en poco tiempo. Simplemente pinta y olvida los egos de las personas. Haz que las primeras impresiones sean importantes, por lo que si te muestras arrogante, esto reducirá las posibilidades de que te vaya bien en tu carrera profesional cuando realmente deseas las oportunidades.
Yes something for new and upcoming writers, develop a nice tag and develop a nice style but do not copy, because that isnt being true to yourself. When you first begin just have fun painting and learning new things, you will enjoy yourself more than if you force yourself to be noticed, yes its nice to be recognized by your main influences but don’t pester them or force their recognition to you on the internet, they will be more impressed by what you paint and how often you paint than how you comment on their photos. Also cut out the «big man» attitude of calling out writers just because they went over you, it’s graffiti almost everything of yours will be covered in a short time. Just paint and forget peoples egos. Making first impressions go a long way, so if you come across as arrogant then this will reduce the chances of you doing well in your graff career when you really want the opportunities.
