¿Qué te motivó para empezar a ser un escritor de graffiti?
What motivated you to get started being a graffiti writer?
En mi ciudad había mucha tradición de graffiti y varias crews de la escena de la vieja escuela. Todos los fines de semana en un muro que teníamos en la ciudad y que lamentablemente ya no existe, había gente pintando. Y yo visitaba muchas veces este muro para ver que se estaba haciendo y siempre quería empezar a pintar como ellos. Hasta que un día me decidí y empecé. Esto fue por el año 2002 y 2003.
In my city there was a lot of tradition of graffiti culture and several old school crews. Every weekend i could saw many people painting on a wall that unfortunately no longer exists, there were people painting. And I visited this wall many times to see what many writers were doing and I always wanted to start painting like them. Until one day I decided it and I started to paint. It was since 2002 or 2003.

What do you try to say with your graffiti?
Me gusta generar impacto en la gente que pasea por la calle. Que mi obra llame su atención y no pase desapercibida y ofrecer un pequeño momento de disfrute a las personas que transitan la ciudad y que caminan a toda prisa pensando en sus cosas, sus obligaciones y preocupaciones del día a día. A veces sacarles una sonrisa, o simplemente una mirada que los abstraiga del resto de sus pensamientos.
I like to get an impact on people who walk on the street. Let my work call your attention and do not go unnoticed and offer a moment of enjoyment to people who transit the city and who walk in haste thinking about their things, their obligations and worries of the day to day. Sometimes they get a smile, or just a look that abstracts them from the rest of their thoughts.
¿Cuál es tu estilo?
What is your style?
Mi estilo es realista o fotorrealista, pero en escalas de color casi siempre monocromáticas. Me gusta generar luces y sombras e imitar reflejos de luz en las caras. Como si estuvieran iluminadas a veces por focos de colores o neones.
My style is realistic or photorealistic, but in almost always monochromatic color scales. I like to generate lights and shadows and imitate reflections of light on the faces. As if they were sometimes illuminated by spotlights or neon lights.

I love the idea, it is always appreciated that your work draws attention to any medium, even more so if one is specialized in graffiti and urban art. It is always good spread!
¿Qué te gusta del graffiti que te mantiene haciendolo?
What do you like the most about graffiti that keeps you doing it?
Para mí todo se trata de querer mejorar, mejorar tu técnica y hacer tu estilo más personal y que te diferencia más del resto. Es una forma de querer superarse a uno mismo y intentar salir de tu zona de confort. Además de eso, tener la posibilidad de conocer gente y lugares del mundo a través de pintar en la calle creo que es un sueño hecho realidad del que nunca querrás despertar.
For me it’s all about wanting to improve, improve your technique and make your style more personal and that sets you apart from the rest. It is a way of wanting to do yourself and try to get out of your comfort zone. Besides that, having the possibility to meet people and places of the world through painting in the street I think it is a dream come true that you will never want to wake up.
