¿Qué te motivó para empezar a ser una artista?
What motivated you to get started being an artist?
No hago graffiti como tal, me dedico a la pintura mural. Desde el año 2016, tuve la oportunidad de asistir a unas clases con Cestola na Cachola organizadas por el colectivo Mutante Creativo, todos ellos profesionales del street art.
I don’t paint graffiti as such, I dedicate myself to mural painting. Since 2016, I had the opportunity to attend classes with Cestola na Cachola organized by the Mutante Creativo collective, all of them street art professionals.
¿Qué tratas de decir con tus obras?
What do you try to say with your artworks?
Siempre que puedo me informo del lugar a intervenir, para adaptar una obra al sitio y a la gente que vive en él, dándole un significado y contar algo más a través de la pintura.
Whenever I can I inform myself of the place to intervene, to adapt a work to the site and to the people who live in it, giving it a meaning and telling something else through painting.
¿Cuál es tu estilo?
What is your style?
Mi estilo aún está por descubrir. Estoy probando cosas nuevas y encontrándome a mí misma. Por el momento se puede decir que se caracteriza por un trazo y una línea bastante firme y suelta a la vez. Me gusta crear volúmenes a través de simples trazos.
My style has to be discovered. I’m trying new things and finding myself. For the time being, it’s characterised by a line and a line that’s quite firm and loose at the same time. I like to create volumes through simple strokes.

What do you think about the idea of us publishing your artworks on our web «elrincondelasboquillas.com»?
El trabajo de compartir la pasión de otros me parece bien siempre y cuando uno no se aproveche de eso. Me parece importante compartir los esfuerzos y los resultados de mucho sacrificio de artistas, sean jóvenes o no, a favor de la cultura, y no del beneficio propio. Espero que se comparta de tal manera.
The work of sharing the passion of others seems fine to me as long as you don’t take advantage of it. I think it’s important to share the efforts and the results of a lot of sacrifice by artists, young or not, for the sake of culture, and not for one’s own benefit. I hope it will be shared in such a way.
¿Te acuerdas de la primera pieza?
Do you remember the first piece?
Mi primera pieza en solitario fue cuando decidí hacer un mural para el proyecto final de fin de carrera (ilustración). Era algo arriesgado, ya que no tenía la experiencia y tenía que tener un acabado ‘profesional’. Me llevé el 10 como nota final, así que ni tan mal.
El mural fue un homenaje a la ‘Maruxaina’ una leyenda de Lugo (Galicia). Aún a día de hoy se conserva, aunque en muy mal estado, ya que la pintura era barata para abaratar los costes del proyecto y la situación en donde está es muy propensa a la luz del sol. Está en Ordes, mi pueblo natal. Me llevó dos días y medio acabarlo, tenía muy poco tiempo antes de la fecha final.
Al principio me daba vértigo empezar, y hasta el día de la presentación estaba insegura, no tenía muy claro si estaba en lo correcto. Al final salió todo bien y me llevé una experiencia buena.
My first piece was when I decided to make a mural for the final year project (illustration). It was risky because I didn’t have the experience and had to have a ‘professional’ finish. I took the 10 as the final grade, so not bad at all.
The mural was a tribute to ‘Maruxaina’, a legend from Lugo (Galicia). Even today it is still preserved, although in very bad condition, as the painting was cheap to lower the costs of the project and the situation where it is very prone to sunlight. It is in Ordes, my hometown. It took me two and a half days to finish it, I had very little time before the final date.
At first I was vertigo to start, and until the day of the presentation I was insecure, not sure if I was right. In the end everything went well and I had a good experience.
¿Qué es lo que más te gusta del street art que te mantiene haciendolo?
What do you like the most about street art that keeps you doing it?
Me gusta que sea un arte efímero. La complejidad de hacerlo en las calles, estudiar las zonas en las que intervienes y el lenguaje que usas. Me parece una herramienta muy potente para decir muchas cosas.
I like it to be an ephemeral art. The complexity of doing it in the streets, studying the areas in which you intervene and the language you use. It seems to me to be a very powerful tool for saying many things.
