Where does your pseudonym come from?
Elegí el nombre de pepsi como adolescente y después haciendo graffiti le di la vuelta a las letras. no sonaba muy bien la verdad así que lo acorté a isie, hace poco también pinto bajo el nombre de rude porque me gustan las letras.
I chose the name pepsi as a teenager and after getting caught doing Graffiti I reversed the letters. It didn’t sound great so I shortened it to isie. I have recently been writing rude and I simply love the letters that are in the name.

What motivated you to get started painting?
Crecí con dos hermanos jóvenes que también pintaban y es así como me interesé por esto.
I grew up with 2 younger brothers who also painted and that is how became interested.

What is your style?
Mi estilo ha cambiado mucho y me ha llevado mucho tiempo encontrar un estilo que me guste y disfrute. Me encanta el lettering de estilo caligráfico. La letra malandro. Me encanta el estilo mexicano. Es mi favorito.
My style has changed a lot and it has taken me a long time to find a style I like and enjoy. I love calligraphy style lettering. Malandro lettering. I love the Mexican style. It’s my favourite.
