Why is your tag Icat?
Debido a mi afición por los felinos y a mi nombre (Mónica), un familiar cercano me llamaba Mónicat. El nombre me hacía gracia y cuando comencé a pintar graffiti lo recorté dejándolo en Icat.
Because of my fondness for cats and my name (Monica), a close member of my family called me Monicat. the name was so funny and when i started to paint i shortened the name and i liked Icat.
¿Qué tratas de decir con tus graffitis?
What do you try to express with your graffiti?
Muchas cosas o ninguna, todo depende del momento.
A veces hago murales vinculados a la naturaleza, llenos de ninfas, plantitas y animales para llamar la atención de la gente y que cuide el entorno. Otras veces hago muros un poco más agresivos, con menos mensaje pero con mucho estilo.
También me gusta reivindicar el papel de las mujeres en el movimiento y animar a las niñas a coger un spray y salir a la calle.
Many things or nothing, depends of the moment.
Sometimes i paint mural walls linked to nature, full of nymphs, plants and animals to have the attention of people and to promote to take care of the environment. Sometimes i do some aggressive walls, with less message but with great style.
I also like to claim the roe of women in the movement and i am trying to encourage to girls to catch an spray and paint on the street.

Me parece genial, es una página que visito desde hace años y que tiene un material estupendo (tanto imágenes como visiones personales). Un saludo y todo mi apoyo a los responsables.
I think it is great, i am visiting this site since many years ago and there are a great material (As photos as personal points of views) greetings and my support to the creators.

Can you talk about this as the graffiti in your city?
Pues soy de un pueblo pequeño donde solo pinto yo. Me sobran algunos muros, estáis invitados.
En los alrededores (ciudades como Úbeda, Jaén, Linares o Andújar), hubo un gran movimiento a finales de los 90, duró algunos años pero poco a poco se ha desinflado. Ahora quedamos pocos pero le ponemos ganas.
I am from an small village where i paint alone. i have too walls, you are invited to come here.
Around my village (Cities like Ubeda,Jaen, Linares o Andujar), there was a great movement in the late of 90s. Lasted several years but gradually it has been deflated. Nowadays we are painting few people, but we are trying to do with effort.

WND, NBQ ProTeam y aunque no seamos crew como tal pinto a menudo con gente de mi zona como Imon, Arsek, Skaresone, Sake, Pike, Oda, Kane…
