Where does your pseudonyme come from?
Es la abreviatura de Fantasma, pero en los 90 queríamos nombres cortos para firmar rápidamente.
Short for Phantasm but in the 90s we wanted short names for tagging quickly.
¿Qué te motivó para empezar a pintar?
What motivated you to get started painting?
Bueno, siempre he estado haciendo arte desde que tengo memoria. En 1991 me introduje en el arte de las firmas y el graffiti. La idea de hacer mi arte en grande y colorido era muy atractiva para mí.
Well I had always been doing art for as long as I could remember. In 1991 I was introduced to tagging and graffiti art. The thought of doing my art big and colorful was very appealing to me.

What is your style?
Siempre he luchado por tener un estilo, pero mi graffiti es en su mayor parte un estilo funk de los 90. Ya no pinto mucho graffiti, así que ahora mi estilo sería un estilo tigre. Pinto muchos tigres con colores de los 80.
I’ve always fought having a style but my graffiti for the most part is a ’90s funk style. I don’t paint much graffiti anymore so now my style would be a tiger style lol. I paint lots of tigers with ’80s colors.

Do you remember the first piece?
Una de mis primeras piezas fue una gran pieza de «Fasm». Me costo hacerla cerca de un mes de trabajo los fines de semana. Estaba en la cornisa del segundo piso de un edificio. Era un graffiti pero mezclé un montón de caras dentro de él. Creo que la gran diferencia es que pensé mucho en ello donde ahora sólo trato de salir y divertirme. Se ve bien ahora debido a los años de memoria muscular y no puedo controlarlo.
One of my first pieces was a large «Fasm» piece. It took me about a month of working on weekends lol. It was on the second story ledge of a building. It was graffiti lettering but I mixed in a bunch of faces inside of it.I think the big difference is I overthought a lot of it where now I just try to go out and have fun. It looks good now because of the years of muscle memory and i can control.

What is your crew?
Mi crew principal es Gospel Graffiti que yo cofundé en el año 1996. Es una crew muy internacional con miembros de todo el mundo. También represento a KWA de Australia, principalmente.
My main crew is Gospel Graffiti crew which I co-founded in 1996. It is a very international crew with members from all over the world. I also represent KWA from Australia mostly.
