¿De dónde viene tu apodo?

Where does your pseudonym come from?

Cuando empece a firmar tenia 8 años y no tenia ni idea de nada, cambiaba mucho de nombre y ninguno me llegaba a convencer del todo, o eran muy largos o se parecían a otras firmas y con 13-14 años empece a juntar letras y vocales y la combinación que mas me cuadro en aquel momento fue Dian, pasados unos años cambio a Diam, durante algunos años en mis piezas escribía Diamante y otros nombres como Ruks o Mudo.

When I started to tag I was 8 years old and I had no idea of anything, I changed a lot of names and none of them convinced me at all, or they were too long or they looked like other signatures and with 13-14 years old I started to join letters and vowels and the combination that I liked the most at that time was Dian, after some years I changed to Diamante, during some years in my pieces I wrote Diamante and other names like Ruks or Mudo.

 

 

 

¿Qué te motivó para empezar a pintar?

What motivated you to get started painting?

Desde cuando vi las primeras firmas por la calle de pequeño se convirtió en una obsesión , yo quería ver mi nombre en los muros también y cuando empece a ver los murales mas currados con los personajes y  las piezas con dimensiones y llenas de colores me volví completamente loco. 

Since I saw the first tags on the street when I was a child it became an obsession, I wanted to see my name on the walls too and when I started to see the most elaborate murals with the characters and the pieces with dimensions and full of colours I went completely crazy.

 

¿Cuál es tu estilo?

What is your style?

Siempre e hecho y me e identificado mas con el wild style, pero con el paso del tiempo todo me a llevado a este estilo un poco mas orgánico mezclado con rocas y letras que flotan, buscaba un estilo con el que sentirme mas cómodo y divertirme. al igual que con las piezas, con los personajes que hago me gusta divertirme y formar híbridos de animales con otros animales, plantas, edificios … siempre intentado crear una imagen de fantasía. 

I have always done and identified myself more with the wild style, but with the passage of time everything has led me to this style a little more organic mixed with rocks and letters that float, I was looking for a style with which to feel more comfortable and have fun. As with the pieces, with the characters I make I like to have fun and form hybrids of animals with other animals, plants, buildings … always trying to create an image of fantasy.

¿Te acuerdas de la primera pieza?

Do you remember the first piece?

No recuerdo bien cual fue la primera la verdad , me acuerdo que los primeros años fueron de un solo bote, muñecos con el contorno solo y las piezas igual, verde, negro o azul, me encantaría tener foto de esas cosas pero era muy pequeño y no podía ni soñar con una cámara de fotos. 

I don’t remember well which was the first one, I remember that the first years were of a single pot, dolls with only the outline and the pieces the same, green, black or blue, I would love to have a photo of those things but I was very small and I couldn’t even dream of having a camera.
