Dasen

Mi apodo lo invente, no tiene una raíz, lo único que para llegar a dasen, antes fue daisen y anteriormente al menos veinte nombres diferentes, con el tiempo quise probar algo diferente y encontré ames aunque para mucha gente sigue siendo dasen.

I made up my tag, it doesn’t have a root, the only thing to get to dasen, before it was daisen and before that at least twenty different names, with time I wanted to try something different and I found ames although for many people it is still dasen.

 

 

 

¿Qué te motivó para empezar a pintar? 

What motivated you to get started painting?

Mi motivación fue un escritor «Dae/Remsdela543dom (fight-for-freedom) siendo mi vecino y sacándome unos diez años, cuando era un crío con 12/13 años lo veía pasar con el coche con música rap y me llamaba la atención luego su peque pintaba graffitis y más curiosidad despertaba en mi entorno, un día lo vi pintando un muro con su crew en mi bario, nunca antes había visto empezar un muro, cada tarde pasaba por el muro para ver si estaban pintando, mirando una y otra vez lo que habían pintado, era algo novedoso y a partir de ese contacto empezamos a bocetear un amigo y yo (Dinas/Niger) eramos dos en nuestra primera crew 2des (Dasen/Dinas).

My motivation was a writer «Dae/Remsdela543dom (fight-for-freedom) being my neighbor and taking me about ten years, when I was a kid with 12/13 years old I saw him passing by with the car with rap music and it caught my attention then his little painted graffiti and more curiosity aroused in my environment, One day I saw him painting a wall with his crew in my neighborhood, I had never seen a wall start before, every afternoon I passed by the wall to see if they were painting, looking again and again what they had painted, it was something new and from that contact we started to sketch a friend and I (Dinas/Niger) we were two in our first crew 2des (Dasen/Dinas).

 

 

 

¿Cuál es tu estilo?

What is your style?

Mi estilo creo que representa el Wildstyle , las letras salvajes ,de formes, pegaba mucho con mi personalidad de entonces, imagínense, catorce, quince años , pura adolescencia más graffiti y rebeldía , todo estaba por explotar.

My style I think it represents the Wildstyle, the wild letters, the shapes, it was very much in line with my personality at that time, imagine, fourteen, fifteen years old, pure adolescence plus graffiti and rebellion, everything was about to explode.

What do you think about the idea of us publishing your artworks on our web “elrincondelasboquillas.com”?

Pues para mí es un poco de superación, ya que siempre he sido un tanto reservado, gente que desconozco lean, lo que para mí es mi vida privada ,me hace un poco incómodo pero soy una persona de riesgo, me gusta ponerme aprueba. También como escritor de graffitis mis trabajos los hago en la calle para mí y para la gente que por ahí pase, así que he pensado que haciendo una entrevista podría llegar a más gente sin tener que recorrer el mundo.

Well, for me it’s a little bit of self-improvement, since I’ve always been a bit reserved, people I don’t know read, what for me is my private life, it makes me a little uncomfortable but I’m a risk taker, I like to put myself to the test. Also as a graffiti writer I do my work in the street for me and for the people who pass by, so I thought that by doing an interview I could reach more people without having to travel the world.

Sí,lo primero dar las gracias al rincóndelasboquilas por brindarme la oportunidad de una entrevista, segundo dar gracias a toda la gente que tengo cerca amigos,familia,y por último decir que para mí el graffiti no sería nada sin el hiphop, el hiphop podría ser la paz interior de uno mismo,la superación,la amistad y lo más importante ha hecho que muchas personas cambien de hábitos negativos,a una mentalidad positiva. Peace and Love,saludos a Comone de la Colonia,ya que él para mí es una persona muy influyente,y Rest in Peace Gabione, nos veremos de nuevo un abrazo, granb-boy, Murcia te recuerda.

Yes, first of all I would like to thank to the rincóndelasboquilas for giving me the opportunity of an interview, secondly to thank all the people I have close friends, family, and lastly to say that for me graffiti would be nothing without hiphop, hiphop could be the inner peace of oneself, self-improvement, friendship and most importantly it has made many people change from negative habits, to a positive mentality.
