¿Por qué tu tag es Dasco?

Why is your tag Dasco?

Dasco es una ampliación de Das, que es el nombre que me puse cuando empecé en esto. Pero hay mil Das por el mundo, así que entre unas cosas y otras, acabe modificando el nombre.

Dasco is an extension of Das, which is the name I got when I started this. But there are a thousand Das in the world, so between some things and others, end up modifying the name.

 

 

 

¿Qué te motivó para empezar a ser un escritor de graffiti?

What motivated you to get started being a graffiti writer?

Cuando era un niño pequeño pensaba que el Graffiti solo lo podían hacer gente con superpoderes o algo así, pero cuando me di cuenta de que la mayoría de peña que dice que pinta el único superpoder que tiene es contar mentiras y liar canutos me dije… coño voy a darle yo también a ver que pasa. Y aquí estamos, con una dependencia más brutal que la heroína, porque siempre pensé, pienso y pensare que el Graffiti es lo más espectacular que existe.

When I was a little kid I thought that Graffiti could only be done by people with superpowers or something like that, but when I realized that the majority of the people who say that they paint the only superpower they have is telling lies and smoke, I told myself … I’m going to give you also to see what happens. And here we are, with an amazing dependence worse than heroine, because I always thought, think and think that Graffiti is the most spectacular thing that exists.

 

 

¿Qué tratas de decir con tus graffitis?

Cuando pinto lo hago por mí, pa ver mi nombre en guapo de mil maneras y en mil sitios distintos. Respecto al resto del planeta pues… quiero que cuando vean mis pintadas recuerden temazos de rap de esos que te ponen los pelos de punta. “Protect ya nek”, “Living proof” tú sabes ese tipo de temazos que te hacen amar el Hip Hop. El problema está cuando lo que pinto lo ve peña que no sabe na de Hip Hop  jaja entonces paso a ser ese cabrón que mancha y raya sin permiso.

When I paint I do it for me, to see my name everywhere in a thousand ways and in a thousand different places. Regarding the rest of the planet … I want that when they see my graffiti remember rap songs. «Protect ya nek», «Living proof» you know that kind of great songs that make you love Hip Hop. The problem is what I see he sees that he does not know about Hip Hop haha then happened that they are thinking in these graffiti writer is a vandal and he is painting without permission.

 

 

 

¿Cuál es tu estilo?

What is your style?

En ciudad potas redondas, rápidas, hechas lo mejor que pueda en ese momento.

En carreteras estilo legible, como si se tratase de publicidad de grandes centros comerciales.

En los muros mi estilo es semi wild style, o wild style, depende de quien lo valore.

I like to paint throw up in the city, fast, made the best you can at that time.

On roads readable style, as if it were advertising large shopping centers.

On the walls my style is semi wild style, or wild style, it depends on who values it.

Está bien salir en páginas web donde la gente pueda ver lo que piensan otros escritores. Es el bombing moderno no? Antes los pives íbamos mirando bombing en el coche y ahora los chiquillos también van mirando graffiti, pero en sus móviles… jajaja.

It’s okay to go out on web pages where people can see what other writers think. It’s the modern bombing, is not it? Before many writers were looking at bombing in the car and now the kids are also looking at graffiti, but on their cell phones … hahaha.

 

 

 

 

¿Qué harías si no fueras un escritor de graffiti?

What would you do, if you weren’t a graffiti writer?

Si no fuese escritor de Graffiti estudiaría la Carrera de Ingeniero de Caminos, construiría un Puente y me tiraría desde él. La vida sin Graffiti no tiene lógica.

If I were not a Graffiti writer, I would study the Civil Engineer’s career, build a bridge and pull myself from it. Life without Graffiti has no logic.

What is your crew?

Mi crew es RMP y siempre ando pintando con los VCG, un abrazo pa ellos.

My crew is RMP and I am always painting with the VCG, a hug for them.
