¿De dónde viene tu apodo? 

Where does your pseudonym come from?

Bueno, no es una gran historia. Solo elegí el nombre durante un viaje con mi crew y algunos amigos a un festival de HIP HOP en Alemania.

Well, it’s not a big story. I just choose the name during traveling with my Crew and some Friends to a HIP HOP Jam in Germany.

 

 

 

¿Qué te motivó para empezar a pintar? 

What motivated you to get started painting?

Cuando estaba en el instituto vi diferentes piezas de Graffiti en Berlín en el distrito 21 (Tiergarte). Me refiero a verdaderas obras maestras en color, fondo y personajes con estilo al máximo. Me conmovió e impresionó, pero nunca vi el proceso de hacerlo. Así que comencé a dibujar mucho con algunos amigos que también estaban interesados ​​en Graffiti. Quería crear estilos, Fondos y Personajes. Pero me di cuenta de que es un proceso de mucho aprendizaje.

When I was in High school, I saw different Graffiti Style pieces in Berlin in the district 21 (Tiergarten). I mean real Masterpieces in Color, Background and Characters styled up to the max. I was touched and impressed, but never saw the artists in the process of doing it. So I started to sketch a lot with some friends who were interested in graffiti as well. I wanted to create styles, Backgrounds and Characters too. But I realized it’s a process of learning a lot.

Wildstyle, Semi – Wildstyles, Estilos 3D fluidos, Fondos, Personajes y Objetos.

Wild style, Semi – Wild style, flowing 3D Styles, Backgrounds, Characters and Objects.

Well, when I was younger, there were just Graffiti-Magazines and some VHS Tapes. So I think any platform to see artworks is great. Thank you elrincondelasboquillas.com!

 

 

 

¿Te acuerdas de la primera pieza?

Do you remember the first piece? 

Sí, claro, recuerdo mi primera pieza, que era ilegal. Y cuando lo pienso, fue una divertida acción de novato. Los colores de la lata de aerosol eran Belton RAL Tones of Chrome y Mintgreen y un tono verde más brillante. En el verano de 1991 o 1992, dos amigos y yo teníamos el plan de hacer nuestras primeras piezas en una pared de un campo de fútbol donde solíamos dar clases de deportes. Una noche preparamos nuestros bocetos y botes y nos fuimos para allá. Comenzamos a pintar, casi lo terminamos, pero de repente apareció un tipo de seguridad y escapamos sin que nos vieran ni nos arrestaran. Después de una hora volvimos y terminamos nuestras piezas y estábamos muy orgullosos. Especialmente el día que tuvimos nuestra clase de gimnasia y todos pudieron ver mi pieza. Desafortunadamente no hice foto.

Yes, sure, I remember my first piece which was illegal. And when I think about it, it was a funny rookie action. The Spray can colors were Belton RAL Tones of Chrome and Mint green and a brighter green tone. In the summer of 1991 or 1992. I and two Friends had the plan to make our first pieces on a wall of a soccer field where we were usually had sports lessons. One night we prepared our sketches and cans and went there. We started to paint we almost finished it, but suddenly a security guy came up, and we escaped without got seen or busted. After one hour, we went back and finished our pieces, and we were so damn proud. Especially on the day we had our sports lesson and everybody could see my piece. Unluckily, I didn’t take a pic of it.
