¿De dónde viene tu apodo?

Where does your pseudonym come from?

La cosa tiene miga…ya que al principio no lo tenía claro, y valorando la firma con los colegas, uno de ellos me soltó la típica frase con el “cabeza buque” en ella…ya se sabe la fama de cabezones que somos por aquí…y la palabra BUQUE me gustó, eso sí, cambiando la “QU” por “K”, me gustaba más en todos los aspectos…

It’s a tricky thing…because at the beginning I didn’t have it clear my name, and valuing tags with my homies, one of them told me the typical phrase with «buque stubborn big head» in it…you know how stubborn we are around here…and I liked the word BUQUE, but changing the «QU» for «K», I liked it better in all aspects…

¿Qué te motivó para empezar a pintar?

What motivated you to get started painting?

La curiosidad por el movimiento, y el no ser como la gran mayoría…era raro en los 90 el tema graffiti,…no estaba bien visto, vaya…y eso me molaba en parte….los tags, graffitis y flops….

The curiosity for the movement, and not being like the majority…it was rare in the 90’s graffiti culture,…it was not well seen, well…and that was cool for me in part …. tags, graffiti and throw-ups ….

What do you think about the idea of us publishing your artworks on our web «elrincondelasboquillas.com»?

Me gusta. Pienso que el graffiti tal y como lo conocemos a día de hoy debería de compartirse en mayor o menor medida. A día de hoy hay mucha gente que pinta y conocerlos y ver sus historias siempre gusta. Si a eso le sumas que tus graffitis, flops e historias son valoradas y dignas de salir en “ELRINCONDELASBOQUILLAS”…y formar parte de la historia, siempre mola…muchas gracias.

I like it. I think graffiti as we know it today should be shared to a greater or lesser extent. Nowadays there are a lot of people who paint and knowing them and seeing their stories is always nice. If you add to that that your graffiti, throw-ups and stories are valued and worthy of being in «ELRINCONDELASBOQUILLAS»…and being part of history, it’s always cool…thank you very much.

What is your crew?

MARIANOS CREW

Eramos muchos colegas, y cada uno con su estilo dibujabamos calzoncillos (boxer), lo que viene a ser un “mariano”…a día de hoy seguimos unos cuantos pintando, entre ellos BHUR.

We were many friends, and each one with his own style we drew boxer shorts, what is known as a «mariano»… today we are still some of us painting, among them BHUR.

Esta crew se formó un poco que coña y es muy reciente…la cosa es que siempre solemos juntarnos los 3 mismos amigos, BHUR, BAROK y yo (BUKE), ya os podéis imaginar los de 3B, poco más que añadir.

This crew was formed as a joke and is very recent…the thing is that we always get together the same 3 friends, BHUR, BAROK and me (BUKE), you can imagine those of 3B, little more to add.
