¿De dónde viene tu apodo?

Where does your pseudonym come from?

Al principio era Buba…viene de mi primo de Bruselas (¡¡también era escritor!! BERY DSA)

At the beginning was Buba…it comes from my cousin from Bruxelles  (he was a graffiti artist too!! BERY DSA)

 

 

 

¿Qué te motivó para empezar a pintar?

What motivated you to get started painting?

Otra vez fue «culpa» de mi primo. Vi los bocetos primo y tags…fotos…fanzine…libros…y eso es todo…Yo estaba completamente colgado por el« juego del graffiti ».

Again was my cousin “fault”. I saw my cousin sketches and tags…photos…fanzine…books…and that’s it…I was completely haunted by the” graffiti game”.

 

 

 

 

¿Qué es lo que más te gusta del graffiti y lo que menos?

What do you like most about graffiti and what do you like least?

Me gusta su total libertad… frente a la pared estás tú. Tu espacio, tu estilo. Puedes crear lo que quieras. Y realmente no me gustan los imitadores y la reciente tendencia de Instagram writers….como bloggers… viven para los likes y las visitas. Este no es mi propósito. El graffiti no nació para complacer a las masas… ni para gustar.

I like the total freedom of  it…in front of the wall it’s you. Your space your style. You cab create whatever you like. And I really don’t like copycats and the recent trend of Instagram writers….like bloggers… they live for  likes and views. This is not my purpose. Graffiti was not born to please the masses…or for being liked.

¿Te acuerdas de la primera pieza?

Do you remember the first piece?

¡¡¡¡¡Mi primer graffiti fue en Italia…en mi ciudad natal Ancona con dos viejos amigos a principios de 2005…Eran letras…y una absoluta mierda!!!!! Todo era nuevo y el graffiti fue una bendición para nosotros.

Después de 20 años tengo los mismos sentimientos cuando pinto….obviamente mi estilo ha madurado…cambiado y moldeado hasta hoy…con MUCHA inspiración de otros escritores de graffiti…pero también pintores…dibujantes…caricaturas…cómics…etc etc.

My first graffiti was in italy..in my hometown Ancona with two old friends in early 2005…It was letters…and an absolute crap!!!!! Eheheh but we was happy …free!… everything was new and graffiti was a blessing for us.

After 20 years i have the same feelings when i paint….obviously my style has matured…changed and shaped until today…with a LOT of inspiration from others graffiti writers…but also painters…cartoonist…cartoons…comic books…etc etc.
