Why is your tag BAMBAM?
B=13, siendo mi número favorito. De alguna manera, esto también significa que soy la segunda generación de artistas de Graffiti en Irán, mi tag también se debe a la ciudad de Bam en Kerman que experimentó un terremoto hace unos años.
BamBam es también uno de los personajes de los Picapiedra.
B=13, being my favourite number. Somehow this also signifies that I am the second generation of Graffiti artists in Iran and because of the city of Bam in Kerman which experienced an earthquake a few years back.
BamBam is also one of the characters of the Flintstones.
¿Qué te motivó para empezar a ser un escritor de graffiti?
What motivated you to get started being a graffiti writer?
Mi principal influencia fue la cultura del Hip Hop cuando era joven, el juego «Getting Up» y eso fue lo que me hizo empezar con todo esto.
My main influence was Hip Hop Culture and when I was younger, the game ‘Getting Up’ and that is how it all began.

What do you try to say with your graffiti?
Quiero enfatizar algunos de los pecados originales y ahora me estoy centrando en ‘Mentir’
Además, quiero motivar a la generación más joven para que haga Graffiti y conozca la cultura Hip Hop en Irán y el mundo.
I want to emphasize some of the original sins and now I am focusing on ‘Lying’
Also, I want to motivate the younger generation to do Graffiti and know about Hip Hop Culture in Iran and the world.

Can you talk us about the graffiti in your city?
Somos un grupo pequeño, sin embargo, estamos creciendo rápidamente. El Graffiti en Teherán es más realista que en el resto del mundo desde la perspectiva de la cultura Hip Hop.
We are a small bunch, however, we are growing fast. The Graffiti in Tehran is more realistic than the rest of the world from the view of Hip Hop culture.

Seeing the world, travelling, and meeting different artists and styles, and to experience painting walls with them.

What is your crew?
Soy miembro de TNT Crew la cual es ‘Tehran Noisy Thunders’ y soy de otra crew que tiene más años (una de las primeras crews en Iran) en persa se escribe ‘ولگردا’ y su significado es hooligans.
I am a member of TNT Crew which is ‘Tehran Noisy Thunders’ and an older crew (one of the first crews in Iran) which in Farsi is ‘ولگردا’ meaning hooligans.

What is your real job?
Mi trabajo diario es ser diseñador gráfico y hago algunos trabajos de murales para los clientes cuando lo solicitan. Sí, pero hace que sea difícil vivir sin un ingreso estable, y necesito encontrar como poder comprar botes para pintar.
My day job is as a Graphic Designer and I do some walls for clients as they request. Yes, but it makes it hard to live without a stable income, and I need to find my spray purchases.
