¿De dónde viene tu apodo?

Where does your pseudonym come from?

Mi seudónimo viene de mis ojos azules. Quería un nombre que se distinguiera de los habituales. Al principio, cambié de nombre varias veces antes de decidirme por este.

My pseudonym comes from my blue eyes. I wanted a name that stood out from the usual ones. In the beginning, I changed my name several times before finally settling on this one.

¿Qué te motivó para empezar a pintar?

What motivated you to get started painting?

Lo que me motivó fue el lado misterioso del graffiti: descubrir quiénes son esas personas que se esconden tras las firmas, por qué lo hacen y qué les mueve. Quería aprender a pintar con spray; el aspecto técnico me intrigaba mucho. El spray es un medio increíblemente divertido, y enseguida me volví adicto.

Rara vez estoy satisfecho con lo que creo, y así ha sido desde el principio. Por eso siempre me esfuerzo por mejorar, quizá persiguiendo una perfección que ni siquiera existe. Pero, como mínimo, es una forma estupenda de desahogarme.

What motivated me was the mysterious side of graffiti—discovering who these people are behind the tags, why they do it, and what drives them. I wanted to learn how to create paintings with spray paint; the technical aspect really intrigued me. Spray as a medium is incredibly fun to use, and I quickly became addicted.

I’m rarely satisfied with what I create, and that’s been the case since the beginning. So, I’m always pushing myself to improve—maybe chasing a perfection that doesn’t even exist. But at the very least, it’s a great way to let off steam.

¿Qué es lo que más te gusta del graffiti y lo que menos?

What do you like most about graffiti and what do you like least?

Es un momento de liberación, una forma de olvidarme de todo lo que me rodea y dedicarme algo de tiempo a mí mismo. Me encanta descubrir nuevos lugares a través de la pintura, especialmente edificios abandonados, buscando paredes intactas o únicas escondidas en ellos.

Me gusta especialmente pintar deprisa, creando obras crudas y espontáneas. Ya no tengo paciencia para pasarme días pintando la misma pared. Abrazo los accidentes y las imperfecciones, jugando con ellos para encontrar un equilibrio con el azar.

La mayoría de las veces pinto escuchando música, que guía mis trazos y movimientos, al menos en lo que respecta a la estructura, aportando un elemento de aleatoriedad y estilo libre. Rara vez llevo un boceto conmigo.

It’s a moment of release—a way to forget everything around me and take some time for myself. I love discovering new places through painting, especially abandoned buildings, searching for untouched or unique walls hidden within them.

I especially enjoy painting quickly, creating raw and spontaneous pieces. I no longer have the patience to spend days on the same wall. I embrace accidents and imperfections, playing with them to find a balance with chance.

I mostly paint while listening to music—it guides my strokes and movements, at least for the structure, bringing an element of randomness and freestyle. I rarely have a sketch with me.

¿Te acuerdas de la primera pieza?

Do you remember the first piece?

Empecé a interesarme por el graffiti sobre los 12 o 13 años y empecé a pintar en 2001 en una enorme fábrica cerca de mi casa. No recuerdo muy bien cuál fue mi primera obra, pero sí recuerdo el estrés que me producía bocetear: es una parte muy técnica cuando estás empezando, y no siempre hay lugar para los errores.

Lo que más recuerdo es que todo era nuevo y que cada descubrimiento era mágico, ya fuera un lugar, un graffiti o una técnica. Especialmente de adolescente, creo que esa sensación de emoción era aún mayor.

I started getting interested in graffiti around the age of 12 or 13 and began painting in 2001 in a huge factory near my home. I don’t really remember what my first piece was, but I do remember the stress that came with outlining—it’s a very technical part when you’re just starting out, and there’s not always room for mistakes.

What stands out the most is how everything felt new, and every discovery was magical—whether it was a place, a piece of graffiti, or a technique. Specially as a young teenager, I think that sense of excitement was even stronger.
