¿De dónde viene tu apodo?

Where does your pseudonym come from?

Es un poco curioso y a la vez gracioso, ya que el origen de mi tag hace referencia a que cuando yo cursaba la secundaria, estaban de moda las caricaturas de south park, todos tomamos el apodo de algún personaje de esta serie, a mi me pusieron Kenny, y con referencia a este apodo, lo modifique a Kenek ya que me gustaba la forma en que se leía de izquierda a derecha y de derecha a izquierda, a su vez hasta de cabeza sigue diciendo Kenek de la misma forma que lo observes, se me hace una particularidad el juego de letras que se forma (Palindromo).

¿Qué te motivó para empezar a pintar?

What motivated you to get started painting?

Mi primer contacto con el graffiti fue con un primo que era mas grande el viajaba mucho a la ciudad de Mexico, en aquel momento el graffiti en esa parte estaba en sus puntos mas álgidos de desarrollo y el también lo hacia en su libreta, y me mostraba sus bocetos por lo cual también me motivo hacerlo en libreta y poco a poco ir conociendo mas herramientas y técnicas para plasmar tu tag.

My first contact with graffiti was with a cousin who was older, he traveled a lot to Mexico City, at that time the graffiti in that part was at its peak of development and he also did it in his notebook, and showed me his sketches so I was also motivated to do it in notebook and little by little to learn more tools and techniques to capture your tag.

 

 

 

¿Cuál es tu estilo?

What is your style?

Mi estilo es ser un letrista, es decir letras en general, me enfoco mas al wildstyle, pero aveces realizo lettering, aveces caligrafía de molde en colores y dimensiones, de la manera en que llamen mas la atención, a veces el estilo tu lo vas a dando de la manera en que lo vas haciendo lo vas moldeando a tu manera.

My style is to be a letterer, that is to say letters in general, I focus more on wildstyle, but sometimes I do lettering, sometimes calligraphy of mold in colors and dimensions, in the way they call more attention, sometimes the style you are going to give it the way you are doing it, you are going to mold it in your own way.

Me da mucho gusto y a la vez agradecimiento que volteen a mi a ver mi trabajo y a tratar de documentarlo y llevarlo a partes donde es difícil mostrarlo, hacer de esto un mundo mas pequeño y que otras personas vean lo que se esta haciendo en esta parte del continente, es un orgullo poder mostrarme en esta plataforma y lo agradezco.

¿Te acuerdas de la primera pieza?

Do you remember the first piece?

Mi primera pieza fue una bomba en la secundaria, recuerdo que ahorre por 3 semanas para comprar aerosoles, ya que era la primera vez que compraba y tomaba un aerosol para ejecutar, recuerdo que entre varios compañeros de la secundaria hicimos lo mismo y fuimos a una casa abandonada y nos metimos a pintar todos, por la tarde, ahí realice mi primera pinta, y nunca supe que seria la primera de muchas, y que la adrenalina y la ejecución del aerosol iba hacer un amor que me marcaría toda la vida, realmente agradezco que el graffiti se cruzara en mi camino y me llenara de tantas satisfacciones al dia de hoy a cambiado mucho desde aquella bomba a lo que realizo actualmente, ya que ahorita mi graffiti lo he enfocado mas al tren, a marcar los vagones de tren con mi estilo y pintar lo mas que se pueda en ellos, después del graffiti ese es mi segundo vicio pintar vagones, diferentes estructuras metálicas, cambiarles el color y mandar mi tag y mi estilo a travez del transporte ferroviario, y se a hecho mucho vicio ya que es mas efímero, por que es una pinta que ya no sabes si volverás a ver, o puede que ahora con los benchs, lo puedas ver en otro escenario al norte del continente en alguna localización muy distinta a los paisajes o zonas de tu país, eso es muy reconfortante y es ahí cuando vez tu trabajo en rincones donde nunca creerías ver tu tag paseando en los metales rodantes.

My first piece was a bomb in high school, I remember that I saved for 3 weeks to buy spray paint, since it was the first time I bought and took an aerosol to execute, I remember that among several high school classmates we did the same and went to an abandoned house and we all went to paint, in the afternoon, I never knew that it would be the first of many, and that the adrenaline and the execution of the aerosol was going to make a love that would mark me all my life, I really appreciate that graffiti crossed my path and filled me with so many satisfactions, today it has changed a lot from that bomb to what I do now, now I have focused my graffiti more on the train, to mark the train cars with my style and paint as much as I can on them, after graffiti that is my second vice painting cars, different metallic structures, change the color and send my tag and my style through the railway transport, and it has become a lot of vice because it is more ephemeral, because it is a painting that you do not know if you will see again, or maybe now with the benchs, you can see it in another scenario in the north of the continent in some location very different from the landscapes or areas of your country, that is very comforting and that is when you see your work in places where you would never believe to see your tag walking on the rolling metal.

Pues nuevamente agradecer el espacio, y que a los nuevos escritores que nos observan y nuevas generaciones, que lo lleven al limite siempre haciendo lo que nos gusta y hacerlo duro, graffiti vida.
