¿De dónde viene tu apodo?

Where does your pseudonime come from?

Después de varias firmas en mi adolescencia, empecé a firmar con Soez sobre 2006.
Me gustaba el nombre, corto, con el juego de la s y de la z, y que resume bastante bien lo que hacemos, ya que el graffiti es como es… Efímero en todos los sentidos, igual un muro te dura un día, dos meses o 10 años.

After several tags in my teens, I started tagging with Soez around 2006.
I liked the name, short, with the game of s and z, and that summarizes quite well what we do, because graffiti is like that… Ephemeral in every sense, maybe a wall lasts you a day, two months or 10 years.

 

 

 

¿Qué te motivó para empezar a pintar? 

What motivated you to get started painting?

Básicamente la mezcla de colores, olores y todo lo que lo rodea al mundo del graffiti. Tuve  la suerte de ir a un colegio donde en los muros exteriores había bastante graffiti. Todos los días veías piezas,muñecos,etc.De ahí yo creo que viene todo, hasta que un día picó mi curiosidad.

Basically the mixture of colors, smells and everything that surrounds it to the world of graffiti. I was lucky enough to go to a school where there was quite a lot of graffiti on the outside walls. Every day you saw pieces, characters, etc. I think that’s where it all comes from, until one day my curiosity got the better of me.

 

 

 

¿Qué tratas de decir con tus obras?

What do you try to say with your artworks?

Intento que la gente reconozca mis piezas en cualquier sitio. Pinto porque me gusta y es una evolución personal constante. De cada vez hacerlo más y mejor.

I try to get people to recognize my pieces anywhere. I paint because I like it and it’s a constant personal evolution. Of doing it more and better.

 

 

¿Cuál es tu estilo?

What is your style?

Mi estilo es geométrico, simétrico o asimétrico, con muchas rectas y paralelas,intentó que sea original y reconocible.

My style is geometrical, symmetrical or asymmetrical, with many straight and parallel lines, tried to be original and recognizable.

Pienso que deberían haber mas páginas como esta dando la oportunidad a gente que no se conocen de nada pero que comparten una misma pasión, hobby o medio de vida. Muchas gracias por contar conmigo para esta.

I think there should be more sites like this one giving the opportunity to people who don’t know each other at all but share the same passion, hobby or livelihood. Thank you very much for counting on me for this one.

 

 

¿Te acuerdas de la primera pieza?

Do you remember the first piece?

Si claro, la primera vez que pinte una pieza,la pintamos entre 4 amigos debajo de la estación de autobuses de Valencia, en el cauce del río allá por 1994. Hicimos 4 bocetos y se eligió el mío y con la pintura de todos se pinto..hoy por hoy no tardarían ni 5 min en venir la policía en el mismo sitio.

Yes, the first time I painted a piece, we painted it among 4 friends under the bus station in Valencia, in the river bed back in 1994. We made 4 sketches and mine was chosen and with everyone’s paint it was painted…today it wouldn’t take 5 minutes for the police to come to the same place.
