¿De dónde viene tu apodo?

Where does your pseudonym come from?

Empecé (de nuevo) con el nombre Sere en 1990, después de usar varios nombres… Me gustaban las letras S, E, R… y entonces vi un cómic de Claude Serre que me inspiró en aquel momento. ¡Pinté/hice tags con más de 150 nombres en los años 80 y 90, como OZ, Poker, Darc, IF, Henk, Panik, Dozer, 2Wild…!

I (re)started the Name Sere in 1990 after i used a few Names… I liked the letters S, E, R ..and than i saw an Comic from Claude Serre` that inspired me back than. I bombed/tagged over 150 Names in the 1980s! and 90’s like OZ, Poker, Darc, IF, Henk, Panik, Dozer, 2Wild…….

What motivated you to get started painting?

Vi la película Wildstyle 1983 en la televisión alemana cuando tenía 11 años… Me enamoré de la cultura hip hop y supe que eso era lo mío, así que empecé a bailar break dance y a hacer graffitis. Fue la primera ola hip hop. Estoy orgulloso de haber formado parte de esta subcultura en su época dorada.

I saw the Movie Wildstyle 1983 on German TV when I was 11Years old .. I felt in Love with the HipHop Culture and know thats it and started Breaking and Tagging/Writing it was the first HipHop Wave Im proud 2 be a big Part of this Subcultura in the golden era.

¿Qué es lo que más te gusta del graffiti y lo que menos?

What do you like most about graffiti and what do you like least?

Hoy me gusta pintar y viajar al pasado, es como una terapia con buenos recuerdos sobre el trainwriting, las reuniones de escritores y los viajes a las jams y batallas del año…

Hoy en día no me gustan los sprays y, para mí, ya no hay autenticidad ni estilo verdadero…

Hay toda una gran industria con boquillas de plástico, colores transparentes, realidad virtual… etc. ¡Odio la comercialización!.

Today i don’t like the Airosolgas and for me there is no realness or truestyle anymore …

There is an whole big Industrie with pussycaps, tranzparent colours, VR .. etc. I hate the Sellout!

Do you remember the first piece?

Recuerdo algunas, pero echo de menos cientos de mis piezas de graffiti y tags en fotos de la década de 1980, porque en aquella época las acciones contaban más que las fotos…

Recuerdo una de mis primeras piezas (1984), pintada ilegalmente durante el día en el aparcamiento de la universidad, inspirada en Beat Street, con un radiocasete y letras divertidas. Fue una sensación increíble con un viejo amigo…

A lo largo de los años, mis estilos salvajes y mis nombres ilegales para bombardear cambiaron a menudo debido a la policía del graffiti (Soko) y las redadas en las casas…

Mi estilo siempre cambia un poco, pero siempre sigue siendo el mismo, ¡simple y serio!

Para mí, lo más importante es y sigue siendo la firma…

Seguid con las guerras de estilos, amigos.

I remember some but I miss hundreds of my Graffiti pieces and Tags on Fotos from the 1980s because back than the Actions count more as the photos…

I remember one of my first Pieces (1984) sprayed illegal at daytime in the university parking garage it was inspired by beat street with ghetto blaster and Fun Letters it was great feelings with an old friend …

In the Years my WildStyles and illegal „Bombing names changed often because oft the Graffiti police (Soko) and the House raids..

My Style always changes a bit but always stays the same simple sere!

Form e the most important thing is and remains the tag and tagging…
