¿Qué te motivó para empezar a pintar?
What motivated you to get started painting?
Empecé a dibujar y pintar como una forma de sentirme cerca de los músicos y grupos que admiraba, dibujándolos, inspirándome en sus canciones, etc. Más tarde eso se tradujo en otras formas de arte que me encantan como el cine y la literatura, así como tener una forma de expresar mis pensamientos y dar sentido a lo que me rodea. En cuanto a los murales, pinté el primero porque mi trabajo de estudio era cada vez más grande, así que me pareció un paso natural y me enamoré de él de inmediato.
I started drawing and painting as a way to feel closed to the musicians and bands I admired, by drawing them, taking inspiration from their songs, etc… Later that translated into other forms of art I love like cinema and literature, as well as having a way to express my thoughts and make sense of what’s around me. In terms of murals, I painted my first Wall because my studio work was growing larger and larger in scale, so that just felt like a natural step and I immediately fell in love with it.

Mi estilo es figurativo y pintura realista.

Creo que es realmente genial tener mis trabajos alrededor de muchos buenos artistas y que más gente pueda ver un poco más lo que hago, gracias por la oportunidad!
I think it’s really cool to have my work around so many great artists and that more people might find it out and see a bit more of what I do, so thanks for the opportunity!
¿Te acuerdas de la primera pieza?
Do you remember the first piece?
Pinté mi primer mural a finales de 2019, estaba muy nerviosa porque realmente salté de escala enseguida, ¡eran 9×12 metros a todo color! En ese momento no sabía nada sobre murales o arte callejero, no conocía la cuadrícula de los garabatos, no sabía cómo operar una plataforma elevadora, ¡ni siquiera sabía qué pintura usar! Averigüé esas cosas, pregunté y me dejé aconsejar por la gente, y muy pronto me acostumbré y me encantó la sensación de pintar a tan gran escala, con grandes pinceles y un sinfín de pintura. ¡Después de eso traté de conseguir cualquier trabajo mural que pude y muy rápidamente el trabajo comenzó a acumularse, 2 años más tarde había pintado 18 murales en el lapso de 1 año! Mi estilo se desarrolló pero no cambió mucho, ahora puedo pintar más rápido y me siento cómodo en una plataforma en lo alto, pero la sensación de pintar sigue siendo la misma.
I painted my first wall at the end of 2019, I was really nervous because I really jumped in scale straight away, it was 9×12 meters in full color! At the time I really knew nothing about murals or street art, didn’t know about the doodle grid, didn’t know how to opérate a platform lift, I didn’t even know what paint to use! I figured out those things, asked questions and got advice from people and very quickly got used to it and loved the feeling of painting on such a large scale, with large brushes and endless paint! After that I tried to get any mural job I could and very quickly the work started pilling on, 2 years later I had painted 18 murals in the span of 1 year! My style developed but didn’t change that much, I can paint faster now and I’m comfortable in a platform up high, but the feeling of painting has remained the same.
