From a blend of a Mayan word in a highland region of Guatemala.
¿Qué te motivó para empezar a pintar?
What motivated you to get started painting?
La mezcla y originalidad de estilos y la idea conocieran mi nombre estando incógnito y las infinitas oportunidades de viajar por el mundo pintando y haciendo lo que me gusta.
The mix and originality of styles and the idea of getting my name known while I was anonymous, and the endless opportunities to travel the world painting and doing what I love.
¿Qué es lo que más te gusta del graffiti y lo que menos?
What do you like most about graffiti and what do you like least?
Lo que más me gusta son las mezclas culturales, distintas personas, idiomas y lugares a donde me puede llevar el Graffiti.
Lo que menos me gusta son las personas que se meten por moda a pintar y duran 2 años haciéndolo y la gente que se cree bomber por manchar otras piezas.
What I like most are the cultural mixes, different people, languages, and places where graffiti can take me.
What I like least are people who get into graffiti because it’s trendy and lasts two years, and people who think they’re bombers by staining other pieces.

Pues de primero gracias por tomarse el tiempo de documentar y contar historias de Graffiti, es un canal de comunicación muy bueno para la cultura internacional de graffiti y se siente bien compartir mi estilo, mi cultura y mi forma de hacerlo y que llegue a muchas personas que quizás no conocen mi propuesta.
Well, first of all, thank you for taking the time to document and tell stories about graffiti. It’s a very good communication channel for international graffiti culture, and it feels good to share my style, my culture, and my way of doing it, and for it to reach many people who may not know what I’m doing.

Do you remember the first piece?
Si, fue por el 2009 en un barrio que se llama villa hermosa, ciudad de Guatemala, quedamos de juntarnos con otros escritores nuevos e ir a pintar un spot en un mercado de verduras.
Yes, it was around 2009 in a neighborhood called Villa Hermosa, Guatemala City. We agreed to get together with other new writers and go paint a spot in a vegetable market.
