Why is your tag S.Kape289?
Mi nombre es S.KAPE289 porque me gustan las letras y porque esta combinación de letras tienen un buen flow. Los números al final representan para mi a los pioneros del graffiti en Nueva York. Pienso que un “tag” lleva un numero al final por tradición. Yo quiero continuar esta tradición por mi parte. El nombre también tiene un punto después el S para contribuir un poco a la nueva escuela. Al final todo el tag junto simboliza en si a toda la gente que ama escapar de algo por un tiempo en la vida.
My name is S.KAPE289 because I like the letters. In that combination they give a nice flow. The numbers at the end show respect to the pioneers of Graffiti in New York. I think that a tag comes with a number at the end has to do with a tradition that I want to keep alive for my part. That the name has a dot contributes a new school flavor to the name. At the end it all comes together that everbody loves to escape from something once in a while.

What is your style?
Me gustan muchos estilos diferentes. Esta es el razón por la que me encanta hacer cosas diferentes y pienso que es una característica buena de un escritor.
Los tags son una obligacion. Me enamore con throw-ups porque son unos clásicos Me encantan los estilos simples – cuando no tienes mucho tiempo. Mi favorito es el estilo tradicional de wild style en una production con muchos colores! Pero tambien me interesan mucho los estilos y técnicas abstractas . Oh y no puedo olvidar que soy un fan de los estilos 3D.
I like lots of different styles and thats why I try to push different styles at the same time. I think a good graffiti writer should be able to do it all. Tags are a muss. I love throw ups- Its just a fun classic. I like simple styles – if you dont have that much time but you still want to have the swing. I really love traditional wild-style lettering as full color productions! But since the beginning I am also interested in doing abstract, technical pieces. Oh did I mention, I am a big fan of 3D pieces, too?
¿Te importaria contarnos como es un dia normal durante la semana para ti?
Would you mind telling us how what a normal day during your week looks like?
No tengo un dia normal. Hago lo mismo que cualquier otra persona. El Graffiti no es la cosa mas importante en el mundo para mi pero siempre esta presente en mi cabeza. No suelo pintar durante la semana debido a que hago otras muchas cosas diferentes que son divertidas.
Its been a while that I had a normal day. I do what everbody else does as well and even though Graffiti is a major thing in my head where I think about it all the time. I am not painting all day-all week. I do a lot of other cool stuff I really enjoy.

Si lo recuerdo cuando pinte mi primera pieza y puedo decir que todavia siento algo de satisfacción cuando aprieto una boquilla y veo como la pintura sale de bote despues de más de 10 años de pintar.
Yes I do, and I can tell you that I still feel the excitement once I push down that cap and the fresh paint leaves the can, just like over 10 years ago.
¿Cómo te imaginas el graffiti en el futuro (año 2085)?
How do you imagine graffiti in the future (Year 2085)?
Probablemente vaya a pintar hasta el fin de mi vida. creo que el Graffiti va a ser declarado en una época grande de arte hasta el año 2085.
I going to paint until I die. By 2085 Graffiti is going to be declared as a big epoch of art.
