¿Por qué tu tag es Chizo?

Why is your tag Chizo?

Mi tag me lo dio un BBoy que se llamaba Troll (Street masters crew). Él siempre me estaba diciendo «Charlie Chizzel whats the dizzel» y de ahí salió el nombre de Chizo.

My tag was given to me by a BBoy named Troll (street masters crew). He would always say «Charlie Chizzel whats the dizzel» and i just ran with the name Chizo.

 

 

¿Qué te motivó para empezar a ser un escritor de graffiti?

What motivated you to get started being a graffiti writer?

No estoy seguro realmente de lo que me motivaría para empezar a pintar graffiti. pero tan sólo recuerdo que fui a mi primera reunión de hiphop «Who Can Roast The Most 4» a ver la escena por primera vez. Después de eso era lo que me atrapo! me involucro de alguna manera en las dos cosas que vi que me daban mas intriga como era el b-boying y el graffiti.

I’m not really sure what motivated me to get started doing graffiti. i just remember going to my first hip hop jam «Who Can Roast The Most 4» and seeing the scene. After that it was a wrap! I had to be involved some way some how and the two things I saw and found the most intriguing was B-boying and graffiti.

 

 

¿Qué tratas de decir con tus graffitis?

What do you try to say with your graffiti?

Nada en verdad no es una cosa en la que quiera profundizar. Tan solo trato de hacerlo como los maestros y desarrollarme como artista en lo máximo que puedo. Al final mi meta es conseguir desarrollar mi propio estilo y las técnicas.

Nothing really it’s not that deep with me. I’m just trying to master the craft and develop as an artist as much as possible. At the end of my journey all i want is to have developed my own signature style and techniques.

 

 

¿Cuál es tu estilo?

What is your style?

No estoy seguro, siempre he dicho que tengo un estilo tradicional a pesar de lo signifique. Todo lo que puedo decir es que me gustan las buenas letras.

Not to sure. I’ve been told I have «traditional style» whatever that means. All I can say is that i like good letters.

Pienso que es una manera de darle bombo al tema como otra red social. Aprecio tu trabajo de documentación.

I guess it’s just another form of promotion like any other type of social media. I appreciate y’all for reaching out though.

 

 

¿Te acuerdas de la primera pieza?

Do you remember the first piece?

Si!! jaja fue esto en Krome Penit. una base abandonada del ejercito. No recuerdo el año exacto pero fue alrededor del 2004. Recuerdo que pensé que lo petaba con eso pero ahora veo la foto y me rio jaja lo que fuera aquello me lo pase bien.

YES!!! haha it was at Krome Penit. Krome Penit was an abandon army base. Don’t remember the exact year but it was around 2004. I remember thinking I killed it at the time but now I look at the picture and laugh lol but whatever all good.

 

 

¿Puedes hablarnos del graffiti en tu ciudad?

Can you talk us about the graffiti in your city?

La escena del graffiti en Miami es fuerte, hay mucha actividad de gente que lo petan allí.

Graffiti scene in Miami is strong. theres a lot of active people that handle business out there.

 

 

¿Qué es lo que más te gusta del graffiti que te mantiene haciendolo?

What do you like the most about graffiti that keeps you doing it?

vale, estoy activo como B-boy, y diciendo lo que más me gusta del graffiti es que no es su significado del todo físico, no importa  lo doloroso que sea como el break, todavía puedo dibujar y pintar.

Ok so I’m an active B-boy, that being said what i enjoy about graffiti the most is that its not physical meaning no matter how soar or hurt i am i can still draw and paint.

Mi favorito de todos los tiempos es DONDI.
