¿De dónde viene tu apodo? 

Where does your pseudonym come from?

Cuando empecé utilizaba un seudónimo, pero en el camino cambié a mi propio nombre, porque no pintaba demasiadas paredes ilegales. Me divierto más cuando hago las cosas más despacio y me tomo mi tiempo para desarrollar más mi trabajo.

When I started out I used to use a pseudonym but along the way I changed to my own name, because I wasn’t doing too much illegal walls. I take more joy when I do stuff slower and take my time to develop my work more. 

 

 

 

¿Qué te motivó para empezar a pintar? 

What motivated you to get started painting?

A mediados de la década de 2000 el graffiti se hizo más popular en Rumanía gracias a Internet y a que los escritores empezaron a viajar, así que pude ver algunos tags y throw-ups en mi pequeña ciudad. Por eso, junto con unos amigos, empezamos. En cuanto empecé a usar una lata, me enganché. Siendo adolescente, las posibilidades de usar pintura en spray eran infinitas, así que me abrió un universo de agujeros.

In the mid 2000s graffiti was becoming more popular in Romania because of the internet and because writers started traveling so I could see a few tags and throw-ups in my small town. That’s why together with some friends we started. Once I got to use a can, I was hooked. As a teenager the possibilities of using spray paint were endless, so it opened up a hole universe to me.

 

 

 

¿Qué es lo que más te gusta del arte urbano y lo que menos?

What do you like most about street art and what do you like least?

Sé que la cultura que la rodea puede tener aspectos positivos y negativos. La verdad es que no me preocupa. Pinto solo y me encanta. Hay una gran sensación de libertad cuando tienes los auriculares puestos, una lata en la mano y una pared delante.

I know the culture around it can have some positive and negative aspects. I don’t really care about that. I paint alone and love it. There’s a great sense of freedom when you got your headphones on, a can in your hand and a wall in front of you.

Me encanta. Me encanta que tengas una gran base de datos de artistas. También el hecho de que corráis la voz.

Love it. I love the fact that you have a big database of artists. Also just the fact that you’re spreading the word.

 

 

 

¿Te acuerdas de la primera pieza?

Do you remember the first piece?

Más o menos lo recuerdo. Fueron 2 latas de pintura de coche, unos colegas y unas cervezas. La pieza era horrible.

I kinda’ remember it. It was 2 cans of car paint, a few buddies and a few beers. The piece was awful.
