¿De dónde viene tu apodo? 

Where does your pseudonime come from?

Anger viene de mi verdadero nombre Angel y es mi alter ego la parte de mí que fue creada para romper las reglas, el culo malo dentro de mí doble personalidad.

Anger comes from my real name Angel and it is my alter ego the part of me that was created for breaking the rules, the bad ass inside of me my double personality.

 

 

¿Qué te motivó para empezar a pintar?

What motivated you to get started painting?

Cuando era niño vivía en la gran ciudad de México y por aquel entonces las calles estaban llenas de graffiti, siempre lo miraba con gran curiosidad y admiración y siempre pensé entonces que cuando creciera quería hacer estos locos dibujos de colores, así que esa fue mi primera inspiración, algunos años después encontré a mis amigos del barrio y algunos de ellos eran escritores de graffiti, así que me motivaron a hacerlo y luego se convirtió en una adicción y después en un estilo de vida.

When I was a child I use to live in the big Mexico city and back then the streets were full of graffiti I always look at it with great curiosity and admiration and I always thought then that when I grow up I want to make this crazy colorful draws so that was my very first inspiration, some years later I found my friends from the neighborhood and some of they were graffiti writers so they motivated me to do it and then it became an addiction an after a life style.

 

 

 

¿Qué tratas de decir con tus obras?

What do you try to say with your artworks?

Al principio era una forma de decir «aquí estoy» «mírame» «existo» una afirmación de mi propia existencia con cada firma y pieza, después el mensaje cambia y depende del momento podría ser cualquier cosa que sienta.

At the beginning it was a way to say “here I am” “look at me” “I exist” an affirmation of my own existence with every tag bomb and piece later the message changes with your self and it depends of the moment could be anything I feel.

 

 

¿Cuál es tu estilo?

What is your style?

Creo que mi estilo ha ido cambiando con el tiempo y sigue cambiando. Me gusta hacer un poco de todo, pero ahora pinto más personajes.

I think that my style have been changing with the time an its still changing I like to do a bit of everything but now I paint more character.

¿Te acuerdas de la primera pieza?

Do you remember the first piece?

No recuerdo exactamente la fecha, sólo que era viernes, por aquel entonces yo era un joven novato, así que en aquellos días estaba recogiendo mis botes esperando el gran día de la hazaña de pintar con mis compañeros… así que todos los chicos estaban listos para la acción y yo llevaba mis botes en la mochila del colegio, eran como cinco o seis sprays, pero por aquel entonces parecía un montón de latas, estaba muy emocionado cuando llegamos al lugar en la cochera, era una gran pared larga y éramos como veinte chicos, así que teníamos mucho espacio para coger cada uno, en esta parte del país no hay tren de pasajeros sólo el ¨beast¨ así que era un lugar bastante solitario y teníamos tiempo sólo teníamos que tener cuidado con los guardias del tren. Recuerdo esta gran sensación de excitación y alegría al pintar como cuando es el momento de hacer lo que has estado esperando, mi pieza era algo así como púrpura con rojo y rosa y yo era el tipo que más tiempo tardaba de todos pero era porque quería hacerlo genial así que cuando finalmente terminé estaba tan enamorado de mi pieza con un gran sentimiento de satisfacción. 

I don’t remember exactly the date only that it was Friday, back then I was a young novice so in those days I was collecting my cans waiting for the big day of painting feat my mates… so all the guys were in the hood ready for action and I was carrying my cans in the school bag it were like five or six sprays but back then it felt like a lot of cans I was very excited by the time we got to the spot in the train yard it was a big long wall and we were like twenty guys so we had a lot of space for take each one, in this part of the country there is not passenger train only the ¨beast¨ so it was pretty lonely spot and we had time we only had to be careful with the train guards I remember this great feeling of exciting and joy while painting like when its time for making what you have been waiting for, my piece was something like purple with red and pink and I was the guy that took the longest time of all but it was because I wanted to do it great so when I was finally done I was so in love with my piece with a great feeling of satisfaction.
