¿Por qué tu tag es Gerbos?

Why is your tag Gerbos?

Supongo que un poco por las letras y su forma pero poco a poco cogió la gracia de que es un animalillo con unas características muy peculiares, la "s" fue añadida hace no mucho ya que es una letra muy rap como diría yo u otros tantos.

I guess because of the letters and their form and with the time it became funny in the way it was an animal with some very special caracteristics, and the "s" was added not very time ago because, as I think, it´s a very rapper leter.

¿Qué fue lo que te motivo para coger un spray y ponerte a pintar en la calle?
What made you grab a spray and start painting on the streets?

Yo ya dibujaba y pintaba miniaturas, el ver esto en la tele y en la calle me trajo la idea de traer mis ideas a un soporte nuevo y más grande, hacer la firma más chula y que la vieran los demás y yo cuando pasaba por allí..,un poco antes escribía frases alrededor de mi bloque y la gente mayor me gritaba y llamaba a la policía constantemente, puto niño del diablo y cosas asi me decían , no se …la gente está mal de la cabeza…

I drawed and painted miniatures, and when I saw that on the TV i tought of doing my paintings in a bigger support, doing the best tag and see it when I went through there... Before that I writed phrases around my buiding and old people shouted to me saying they were going to call the cops and that kind of things, I don´t know, people is crazy...

What is your style?

Me gusta improvisar y moverme en todo, sobre todo mezclar el arte de la caligrafia grafitera con dibujos o realismo, algunas veces puedes conseguir el resultado exácto que querías y dormir tranquilo y feliz, sabiendo que has rockeado el lugar.

I like to improvise and do a litle bit of everything, and above all mixing the art of graffiy caligraphy with cartoons or realism. Sometimes you can find the exactly result you was looking for and that night you can sleep happy knowing you have rocked the place.

¿Qué tratas de decir con tus graffitis?

What do you try to express with your graffitis?

Depende cada uno pero en general siempre me ha gustado crear movimiento y formas voluminosas, en otros casos o en los mismos al mismo tiempo me preocupo por expresar o criticar hechos sociales o humanísticos pero cuando no quiero dar vueltas a esto me quedo donde dije, me encanta el arte critico e irónico.

It depends on each one but in general I´ve always liked creating movement and voluminous forms, in other cases or at the same time I try to express or criticize social facts, but when I don´t want to think so much I do what I said. I love critic and hironic art.

¿Qué es lo que mas te gusto de Londres cuando estuviste viviendo allí?

What thing did you most like from London when you were living there?

Los espacios tan brutales de los que dispones para hacer graffiti, de la demanda de este y sus galerías y tiendas .

The enormous places dedicated to graffiti, the demant of it and all the galleries and shops.

¿Dónde te gustaría pintar?

Were would you like to paint?

Tengo ganas de volver a Alemania y seguir pintando allí, quizás vivir una temporada por esos lares.

I would like to come back to Germany and continue writing there, maybe living some time there.

¿Qué te parece la idea de mostrar tus graffitis en esta web como es “elrincondelasboquillas.com” para que la gente pueda ver lo que haces?

What do you think about the idea of showing your graffiti in this web, "elrincondelasboquillas", so that people can see what you do?

Me parece estupendo, y mando un abrazo a la gente que mueve esto, es una iniciativa cojonuda para dar a conocer artistas en la sombra.

I think it's great , and send a hug to the people who move it ,it is a great initiative to raise awareness of artists in the shade.

¿Nos podrías contar alguna anécdota mientras pintabas?

Could you tell us any history about when painting?

Tengo una que siempre cuento cuando pintaba un edificio abandonado en Londres, supuse que no haría mal si pintaba un dibujo en el tejado así que me dispuse a pintar en la mañana a la vista de todo el mundo.
De repente vi un par de policías que habían subido las escaleras para detenerme y confiscarme los sprays, estuve retenido unas 8 horas y me libre, no se como de una multa de 5000 libras. Afortunado fuí.

I´ve got one I always tell and it´s when I was painting an old building in London and i tough there was nothing wrong about painting in the roof so I started doing it in the morning. Suddenly I saw two cops un the stairs and they arrested me and confiscated all the sprays. I was arrested 8 hours and I don´t know how but in the end they let me go without paying the fine of 5000 pounds.

¿Nos podrías dar algún consejo para ser igual de bueno que tu en este arte?

Could you give us any advise for being as good as you painting?

Supongo que la dedicación y el cuidado con el que realices tus trabajos desembocaran en un buen trabajo, considero que la intensidad en una obra es algo muy bonito si se estudia antes.

I suppose the dedication and the care with you do your works will cause a good job, and I thing the intensity in a job is something really beautiful if being studied before.
